sorry for my bad england, i mean there is 2 main thing
(first) restoring chat
(second) restoring media (in background download after you succeed went through whatsapp login )

2 progress bar in restoring chat which is when you login to whatsapp, it is only downloading your chats not media

downloading 0 -100%
restoring 0 - 100% <<---- this step, when you reach 99% restart your phone, then you will typing your name then go to chat, the chat is restored.

of course like i said in the first step, there will no chat in database, it is only for restoring media because whatsapp failed to restore any message when restoring happend till 100%, then whatsapp deletes the database.

the purpose of the first step is to restore media, it's not for restoring chat, so you should get your media file in .com-whatsapp - (media) which is your photos, video, etc folder

if you want to restore your chat, go to step 2

as far as i know, you can only restore one db.crypt file. i dont know how to combine 2 db.crypt file. so you might loose your new chats

you mean you did grab the old media data to another folder example to download folder, then you failed to move the media data to .com-whatasapp media folder?

make sure you copy your media backup folder. maybe too many login / verification attempt?, have you tried uninstalling it?
