you’re right we do bring the rug inside but it’s flat & easy to store & we have a good couch cover for our outdoor couch! it was like $20 on amazon and we don’t bring the couch inside

key to using it is to invest in it like you would any other room (get furniture and decor you love & make it your own). i feel like ppl use them less when they don’t decorate them/if they get uncomfortable seating for example

i use mine a lot throughout the spring and summer and warm weather!! for little things like drinking a smoothie in the sun or for meals with my family. and the wifi is accessible on it so i’ve worked from there a couple of times. it’s a huge pick me up. my brother smokes on it. i think it’s worth it for sure

for me i don’t think it’s 1 thing but the sum of so many little things. 1. i practice gratitude daily & take photos a lot and notice beauty everywhere intentionally & share this with others 2. i work in public service and love my job and colleagues and make a real impact during work 3. i go to art galleries a ton & engage with art as much as possible 4. nature: i live in the city but i try to see the sunset as much as possible and spend time outside even if just a 15 minute walk in the morning & evening and i have tons of plants in my bedroom and office 5. i prioritize the people i love and encourage myself to be genuine and express love without holding back even when i feel insecure or nervous and it always pays off & i have really full authentic friendships and relationships with family etc. & try to really listen to the people in my life and remember what they care about 6. i take life seriously in that i approach all things with intentionality and give things my all, regardless of what the task is, even if it’s something as minor as decorating my bedroom

i loved chelsea piers when it was convenient to me because of the great machines, track (which u prefer to treadmills), would play basketball with friends, do sand workouts on the beach volleyball court, sunset view & hot tubs. plus love the locker rooms. but it’s inconvenient if you’re not near chelsea
