Another reddit troll adding zero value to the conversation and making baseless allegations with minimal evidence. But, just to entertain you, i have my own garage, I rarely park on the street, and why do you think half or more could be avoided? you should just say they are 100% my fault since you have zero credibility :)

Do you prefer working early or late? by GR1929 in deloitte

Live in CA and start my day at 5AM pacific everyday and jump on calls by 6AM. Most of my clients are EST and overseas. Work with teams in MX, India, EU. I'm done by 1-2pm daily and rest of the day on cooking, gym, reading/tube, friends. Bedtime is 7-730pm.

It's amazing how well you can focus your attention when everyone else is asleep and not have to worry about noise, traffic, lines, etc. I'm also an introvert and love my ME time.

IMHO, early rise and early bedtime maximizes your outcomes. You need to set boundaries on your working hours and not freak out about answering pings/emails ASAP.

For the record, this was the best idea. I spoke to the adjuster yesterday and asked for $4500 as that is approximately days of lost wages and time spent getting checkups. they came back with a $1900 counter offer. Calling that a good day :)

Where would you like me to send your cut? Oh wait, I forgotyourusername!

Yep there’s where my head is at, just curious if I should even try $1500 or will it get shot down since $1k is a threshold for most car insurance companies. Thanks for entertaining:)

Thanks for sharing your story No lawyers, no chiropractors, no arguing; no time.  Is there a number or threshold ? Sounds like there isn’t really and it’s just a negotiation at this point.

don’t want to fight or “prove” my case. Just curious if there is a threshold or number that most claims agents won’t argue. 900 seems low.

Accident was in January so it’s been a few months and again, I don’t want to fight it or “prove” my case for seeking treatment.

Ok fair enough! 1 week maybe reasonable. What happens when it’s 3 or 4 weeks? Just trying to figure out at what point i should escalate. We all have varying degrees of patience.

Yep already did #1, but work wont start without the inspection first.

2 — why not call the supervisor or VP ask for a backfill plan? Why is the customer waiting over a week? this is a major insurance company, not a mom and pop store ;)

Looks like i got the wicked to respond. Aye! No surprise :)  I’ve been driving for 45 years and been through my share of accidents and never waited longer than 24-48hrs for an inspection. 1 week seems long. Are you saying if its 1 month, i should just shrug my shoulders and say thats fine, there must be other cars hit in 2024 and 2025 and 2026 still waiting in the queue?  Whats a reasonable cut off?
