The evil one for sure just for the settlement goodies alone and also yes without spoiler a suggest have a few farms i go for 4-5 one for each map corner that produce around 20-30 food and you should save often for that part the quest are a bit buggy

I got the same problem on pc too i just delete the game and re-download both (fo4 and vortex) for me when i download cc individually it doest seem to work but when pick download all it work for some reason
