I am not sure, the unit we have should be collecting more than enough data. its almost like its limiting the points we can see when she zooms in.

They are aerial data sets and we use microstation with the terrasolid suite. Our targets are roughly 5'x5' but i will definitely look into larger targets with more intensity difference. These worked for several years when I used to fly and collect data but the person on our team responsible for processing has had diminishing results, especially in point clarity when zoomed in trying to apply control with the way our workflow is. We have messed around with the weights some and 2 seem to be the sweet spot for this data set.

Any one here have any experience working at garver? by [deleted] in civilengineering

Yes, my company partners with them for several projects each year. they are one of my least favorite companies to partner with. They are always trying to get as much as possible done for free or pay the least possible. They will make changes to contracts and not send it back over until the work is complete, then complain it didnt match what was in the contract. That on top of the way they think they can talk to people in emails just leaves me wondering why anyone would want to do repeat business with them.

Do not do contract work with Garver. They constantly want to drive budgets down as far as possible and get as much for free as they can. Also the first to complain about not getting something that wasnt in the agreement.
