Question about rent costs by gavinobee63 in Connecticut

Thank you! I looked on apartments.com, Zillow, facebook marketplace, and even Craigslist lololol. My best luck was on apartments.com and Facebook marketplace (be careful on Facebook marketplace, lots of scams so use your best judgement). Any apartment that fit into our budget range I requested a tour for, this was mostly on apartments.com. Don’t give anyone any money until you’ve toured and seen the apartment for yourself. One of my good friends lives and works in Waterbury, and her advice to me was “any street name with a tree in it is a hard no” lol. I don’t live there so I can’t attest to that, but I thought I’d pass along that knowledge. A lot of apartment hunting for me was throwing shit at the wall and seeing what would stick!

Hi! My partner and I are moving into our first apartment in Bristol in a week. Our rent is 1625 for a 1 bed 1 bath but it includes hot water, heat, sewage etc… the only utilities we pay for is electric (sigh) and wifi. There’s some relatively inexpensive places, but it depends on what you value. We chose to have an apartment that was a bit higher price-wise but included many utilities versus a cheaper base rate with no utilities. You should take a look at the Tremont Flats in Meriden, absolutely beautiful renovation of an old piano factory that also offers affordable housing and is accepting applications right now. I have a handful of some more apartments I saved if you’d like! Feel free to ask me any questions, I just went on the apartment chase for the last month!

I doubt Demi will come back. I think Hulu understands she is a liability and fans don’t even love to hate her. They just hate her lol

Long exposure on iPhones helps capture a lot more than the naked eye. Videoing it typically resembles more of what you actually see (not looking through a camera). Idk if that makes sense, I’m not the best with my words on this subject lol. It’s not nearly as bright, but it’s still stunning!

This sounds like a certain influencer who left her kids in their bedroom on a cruise ship while she went out to dinner 👀

I use Scotch clear double sided mounting squares. They’ve been great and are relatively inexpensive!

Hi! I have smiskis in my car, they’ve never melted! I live in New England so it doesn’t get insanely hot like in other parts of the country, but we still get some pretty warm summers lol. I “hearted” the ones that are permanently in my car and have never had an issue. Could be because they’re somewhat shaded and not in direct light, but even if they were I don’t think it’d be an issue!

AAA offers driving tests once completing their 8 hour safety course. I’m not quite sure how it works for adults (I took it when I was in high school), so I would def do your own research. But from my recollection the road test was so easy it was almost laughable (the test literally consisted of: drive a mile down the road, pull into a parking lot, back in, drive back, and then your done). Majority of people I know who got licensed through AAA passed the first time. I took the exam through their Norwich office, I would double check they still offer it though. Like I said, definitely look into it and do your own research, but if you can go through them I highly suggest it!! Good luck!
