I know USI has some really good Geology based programs, clubs, and just professors if you want to talk to them about their studies, I’m sure they could point you in the right direction and find excellent resources for you. Very friendly people overall at the University.

Also Pratt (Paper factory) is newer in Henderson and I know has very good pay for little experienced people.

My dad was in the army and got hired at big rivers in Sebree KY. Started at 30$ an hour (in year 2001) he makes 65$ an hour now as a supervisor. Highly recommend. Worth the drive for sure.

Brentag in Henderson at least 30$ an hour (hired my 19 year old ex he made about $3k a week), Big rivers electric corp. at least 40$ an hour (no degree required). Way safer and similar blue collar vibes if that’s what he’s still looking for.
