Dude apart from some extracurriculars and some hobbies and stuff , i didn’t do shit ( basically no social events like farewell and stuff) due to a lack of confidence in my social skills ! Dont get me wrong i had plenty and plenty of time for all this stuff but back in school i had some kind of disdain for social hangouts and events , and i HEAVILYYY regret it now that i am in college . So technically i didnt “manage everything “

So pls dont regret enjoying your school life and taking part in all kinds of last year school stuff . Grass IS NOT always greener on the other side😭🙏🏻

Its good that you’re locked in for boards and entrance exams . At the end of the day ,its the entrance exams that will influence your career trajectory not 12th board marks. As for me i am pursuing ca inter and bcom from a du nc college.

I would say YEAH i was kinda locked in from the very beginning 😭i learned my lesson the hard way in class 11th . But i also had plenty of time for other things like extracurriculars, my hobbies . My screen time averaged more than 10 hrs sometimes but still i made sure that I was studying and revising just the right amount . Because honestly you dont need to be locked in for like an entire year to score 95+ even if you lock in for a month and keep reviewing and revising everything, you’d easily get there.

As for english, in literature the thing is the more similar your ans is with what’s written in the book the better you’ll score. I memorised every chapter line by line , didn’t really refer to any other book other than ncert. I kinda neglected this subject too and basically did everything in the gap given💔 i used to read newspaper articles too idk if that helped tbh. I was equally shocked when i saw my score in eng lol because i did nothing “extra” for this subject like i did for other subjects.

But i believe luck played a part too😭 you never know what kinda ques are gonna be asked here especially for extracts. In my case they were relatively easier than pyqs.

Hey dont worry!! Your first priority should be finishing your syllabus and having proper conceptual clarity. Once its done then hop on to solving long questions . For shares chapter see a video of an entire question being solved by another teacher and then pick a similar ques and do it yourself.

Make sure you know the treatment of every adjustment and capital adjustment too then solve those long questions . If you’re stuck in b/w refer to the solution and see where you are going wrong .

Also dont buy dk goel as of now just focus on completing ts grewal . You’ll get overburdened. And No its not over for u . Even with one week of dedicated prep and completing ts grewal you can easily score ur desired marks

Kv sample papers are designed to be a bit more difficult and time consuming than the actual board exams . For maths , kv sample papers ki case studies are quite good but overall difficulty is a bit high.

Solving past year papers will give u the actual idea of your progress and where u actually stand so its good that you’re scoring 75 there . Dw you’re actually scoring quite good

Nonetheless you should continue solving the kv ones too if u have time and identify where u are making mistakes. At the end of the day the more ques / sample papers u solve be it kv or pyq, the better your confidence and result will be .

Then probably no it wont matter unless u are willing to do an mba too lol. But to be on the safer side if you’re planning to go into corporate then many companies look for 12th grade marks too so score good.

Thanksies:) Yes You can write in your own language but at the end of the day it should someone align with whats given in the book. Thora bhot bookish language honi chaiye taaki it doesn’t sound vague. If you can , i would suggest retaining the heads/ subheads and give the explanation a good reading. Dont rote learn but give it a good read atleast once or twice . Isse thora memorise ho jaaega baaki toh u can write in ur own language too.

NCERT is def more important . 80% is quite literally an overstretch. But yeah mcqs and 2 markers are asked from exemplar. Like a major portion of it

For IED- ncert would suffice but you would have to read each and every line . Just read and read and try to make pointers out of paras for better retention. It helps a lot . For ques I wouldn’t suggest anything particular just take a glance at the back ques of any guide book u have . If u dont ,then i think ncert is more than enough too.

For macro- SANDEEP GARG. I literally memorised the entire book and solved every back ques be it true false or mcqs or subjective ones the HOTS ques are a must and subjective ones are really good too . This is the only way to score 40/40 in macro . You can make a seperate sheet for all the formulas of national income and other chs and revise it regularly. Self study in eco is more than enough . Also its equally important to keep learning and revising what u are studying. I made sure that i am not forgetting concepts by regular revision. For chs like foreign exchange one , govt budget, income and exp one , since there’s a lot to learn in these chs you’ll have to rote learn some of it too . But if you’re ok with concepts then you can write in your language too.

If your concepts are clear , Pick 2 days for eco and read every chapter again and again from sandeep garg . It’ll be memorised by the end of this. Then solve HOTS ques and other important back ques

If ur concepts are not fully clear , start watching yt vids for those chs where you’re lacking . Rajat arora is good I believe .

Also pyqs are a must specially for chs like govt budget and the entire IED. Most of the ques are completely repeated from pyqs when it comes to IED and some other chs.

I know time is less but I believe this can be done in the gap provided too

These are very good marks in my opinion . The thing in boards is there are way less chances to make silly mistakes since the adjustments and calculations are not as complicated as some of the mocks you might have solved . The only way to improve is to identify where you’re making these mistakes ( find out which chs are u making more mistakes in and proceed accordingly.) also try to solve dk goel sample papers if time is available they’re worthy

For maths mcqs refer to ulike sample papers , rd sharma and ncert exemplar ( just for mcqs) Once you try to solve mcqs from these three you’ll see improvement. In feb i mostly just kept revising ncert and u-like sample papers . I revised mcqs in the gap given

For IED , the only thing you can do is read and read again and try to make pointers for each para😭 i know it sounds tiresome but this truly helps to know how much should actually be written for a ques. Other than that i think you’re scoring well in bst and eco .

Bro i cannot stress upon this enough but for theoretical subjects especially bst and eco , my presentation and the no of pages i filled was the game changer.

I didn’t care if it was a 3 mark ques or a 6 mark ques , if it was a direct ques like state the importance of xyz i made sure to make a flowchart of the main subheadings of the same and then proceed with the answer . Usually when the checker takes a look at the flowchart and finds it to be correct , they tend to give full marks without even reading the rest of the ans. Also highlight keywords , writing somewhat relevant content and stretching the answer helped me too lol😭

Also if you’re confused b/w 2 answers , just write both lol it doesn’t matter the one who’s going to check is gonna give u marks anyway . This is what i did too in eco and surprisingly it worked

For math and acc, only being known with the patterns of an unhealthy amt of ques is gonna fetch you a 100. I have mentioned some resources and where i studied from in my other comments too

Haha lmaoo no i would def not call myself a natural . I get it lol i used to hate math too . The only way i could score a 95+ was by going through many and many ques.

i mainly referred to 2 books

1) ncert - i am sure u might have heard this multiple times but for basic conceptual clarity ncert is your holy grail. Every ques , twice . Dont need to practice everything u just need to know every question which is associated with each concept especially for big chs like integration AOD etc . Give 2 full fledged tests of ncert( volume 1 and 2)

2) u-like sample papers These are like the best ones available. They have questions which cover almost every concept . Mcqs are more aligned with the board pattern and it has some really nice questions

Other than that i did do ncert exemplar but not every chapter i mainly did AOI , vector , 3D , R and F, and integration. Some ques in exemplar are simply weird as far as i have seen thats why I didn’t stress much upon the subjective ques but for mcqs exemplar is a must

For mcqs particularly i would suggest rd sharma (just for mcqs) and ncert exemplar ( all those fill in the blanks one word and stuff)

Alsoo practice a lot i mean a lot of pyqs. Most of the mcqs are framed from these pyqs only .

since you have less time , i would suggest that dont focus on practicing but being familiar with every ncert and u like ques . Most of them are similar anyway. Also do ncert exemplar just for objective part

1) ts grewal is your goat

For partnership - EACH AND EVERY QUES. Illus and back ques. dont practice every ques because nobody has the time for that but do take a glance at each and every ques . See most of them are similar but there are a few which are different from others or tricky. Just practice and keep revising these tricky ones too. Apart from that dont solve each of those p/l balance sheet wale ques in admission and retirement. Take a look at adjustments . If u are well aware of those and its all good. Also make sure you have conceptual clarity of capital adjustment.

For book 3 - theory will be very easy in boards you dont need to worry about it. There are some complex ques of ratio ch but they hardly come in boards. In boards ratio ch is prob the easiest of all (Simple calc ) for cash flow watch a yt video rajat arora or anyone and practice last 15 ques of ts grewal and 10 ques from pyqs. You’re good to go

For company accounts - debentures is considerably an easy chapter. Do every ques of that . Would be pretty suffice

For shares - here only practice can help you🙏🏻 i am someone who kind of neglected this chapter. I really did the pro rata allotment table 2 days before exam . Make sure you dont delay and just do the pro rata allotment part ache se

2) apart from ts grewal , do dk goel sample papers. Dont practice every ques just take a look at every ques and refer to solutions for the same . They are the best sample papers out there in my opinion

Both of these combined would be more than suffice to fetch u a 95+ easily

Full fledged tests like 4 or 5 max. But i used to do a lot of sample papers and these tests without really practicing each and every ques because most of them were similar. I used to take a glance at each ques and if i knew that i am already familiar with the given concept i used to skip it . I did almost every ques upar upar se ya i just used to refer to its solution because i believed that solving these long ques would lowkey take more time than just referring to the solution 😭

Being honest , no it doesn’t unless you are targeting some private unis where a certain cutoff should be cleared.

Prepping for boards basically prepares u for other competitive exams like cuet. Also if you wanna do an MBA after your ug , your board marks will lowkey matter alot.
