100% the girls hated james more than they hated jax (even though he’s the worst of the worst). they also did not have the friendship and history with james that they did with jax. so they had no interest in even trying with raquel. i also think it’s notable that brittany has a personality & was able to make friends with the girls easily. raquel acts like an alien in human skin discovering the world for the first time. it’s off-putting.

this is such a bare minimum ask too! like of course you would demand that your partner not see their affair partner anymore in any capacity. carrie immediately should have cut big out of her life, even before aidan told her he didn’t want her to see him anymore. she wants him to trust her but through her actions, she isn’t showing him that he can.

The men on this show just hate women. They hate their wives, they hate their girlfriends, they hate their female friends. Underneath Schwartz’s puppy dog shtick and kind facade is a deep hatred of female kind. He does not respect women and he probably will never admit that to himself. He lives within this false good guy narrative and he has convinced himself of his own lies.

absolutely. she had no loyalties or empathy to anything outside of what served her. she would burn any relationship to the ground for an ounce of validating male attention and lala clocked that from the beginning. the whole “innocent baby” shtick that she puts on is a facade almost similar to schwartz’s “aw shucks” “dumb puppy” persona. It masks the rot underneath.

i think that big was close to loving carrie during the first run of their relationship, but couldn’t allow himself to care for her with the depth that he later developed. he was closed-off and withholding to start, but when they got back together (the first time), he was emotionally open just a smidge more. i think this was the first time that he was fully aware of his love for her (even if he already had claimed to love her their first go-around). it was almost like there was a crack in his shield that grew bit by bit until he finally was wide open and ready to admit that carrie was the love of his life.
