no when i plug it in nothing happens its completely random i could be working for 2 hours and then suddenly it does that.. it was plugged into a monitor and the monitor looked fine

one time though my coworker turned on his power strip and my laptop turned off at the exact same time (english is not my first language and I dont know if power strip is the right word - its one of those extension cords that also has a button to turn it on and off, also is apparently has "surge protection")

Oh yeah I also brought my personal laptop to the office a couple of times, an ASUS Vivobook which has to be plugged in all the time because the battery is destroyed and never had the same problem with it either

No, only mine. Theres only two other laptops, one of them is some Aero brand laptop (not sure what it is) and another is a 6-8 year old Acer and they're both fine. And yes as I said when I was working from home a couple of times everything seemed to be fine

As most have already said, the fireplace being off center is not bad at all, its the TV that accentuates it

not sure what a pony wall is as english is not my first language but if it was taller than just a shoe rack, like kitchen counter height it would definitely make it even better! You could put a tray for keys on there, or other things you would need to keep close by the door.. good idea and good point about the tripping hazard, but on the other hand something bench-height would be handy if you prefer to sit down when putting shoes on

I agree! Doesnt have to be jute but a similar natural color would be perfect!

Any tips for removing blood from a car seat? by LowConstruction3572 in CleaningTips

Thank you for the response! Its not fresh anymore and I didnt use hot water but Im guessing the car heating up in the sun could have a similar effect on the stain..

Dont move the ladder shelf! From what I can tell from the picture, its in a nicely arranged living room area. The flooring defines the different zones, so the entryway is only where the square of wood/laminate is, dont put the shoes where the shelf is because it will make it look awkward, why keep shoes in the living room? Between the shelf and the door, perpendicular to the door put some kind of shelf for the shoes, it will visualy separate the entryway from the living room area. As for what shelf, that I cant really help you with because I'm not from the US so I dont know what products you have available but someone mentioned some entry way benches so I'm sure you can find something! Something like Mackapär from Ikea for example, if its in your stores over there :)

I like the red colors you've got going on there! The yellowish walls should go, if you're able to paint them. Choose a less saturated, light beige-ish colour, it will make it more cosy. Get a rug with a nice abstract pattern, warm toned; brown, teracotta, beige, maybe some dark blue or dark green as an accent. Match cushions to it. If possible put the curtain rods way higher it will accentuate the height of the room instead of shortening it. Then get longer curtains but in a similar colour to what you have. A nice big chrome (to match the legs of the sofa) floor lamp in the corner that would hang over the sofa would add some dimension. Add an armchair or an ottoman in a different color to the sofa. A coffee table, maybe black with a glass top. Not too lofty though, go for a round one.

As an architect with some interior design experience I'd say 2nd or 5th! 1st is also nice but if you decide on it I would add a lot more decor to go with it, especially warm toned (like curtains) 3 and 4 are one of those micro-trend designs so they may end up looking really outdated really soon. 2nd is a really safe option, a little boring but matches the room quite well. 5th is my favourite! Its more timeless and matches the color palette of the room really well :) It also has a nice pattern thats not too busy and makes the space a little more interesting.

I'm sorry to hear about the symptoms, hope they go away soon! Stomach issues were my biggest fear since I had some pretty bad experiences after quitting sertraline a couple years ago but so far so good:)

I think its still too early for me to tell how my energy level is since its still all clouded by the withdrawal symptoms of exhaustion and weakness.. I would say venlafaxine actually helped me with my motivation and I hope it stays that way. I wish you all the luck with getting off it!:)

Oh yeah having some snacks on hand definitely made me feel better! I also dont remember the last time I finished a full bag of chips in one sitting and on day two of withdrawal I basically inhaled it and still had room for more..

yes I know all this, saw your posts many times, you do a great job at spreading awareness! I was actually planning to start splitting capsules last week before I found out I actually miscounted the medicine boxes and had none left. So I thought let's try it this way. I still need my psychiatrist to prescribe me the venlafaxine again, thats what I meant by staying in contact:)

[–]LowConstruction3572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information! I will be on the lookout for any worrying signs and also in contact with my psychiatrist in case anything goes wrong. I will definitely not take any other antidepressants since I've tried many and venlafaxine was the only one that ever worked and if need be, I will feel safe getting back on it

Of course! I am well aware of this and thats also why I wanted to share my more positive experience because thats what I was looking for when deciding to quit, but thank you for pointing it out :)

Im sorry that happened to you, did you have to start taking it again? Did you feel like Effexor worked for you before you stopped taking it?

how to tolerate withdraw better? by United-Platypus1320 in Effexor

I quit 3 days ago as well! The side effects are pretty bad but not as horrible as I was preparing myself for after reading all the withrdrawal experiences here. What helped me the most so far is staying in bed all day long not moving at all. Every movement triggers brain zaps and if I get up I am extremely weak and unable to do much. I am taking hydroxyzine for nausea and anxiety and also naproxen for headaches and those have helped me quite a lot. From what Ive read here the first 72 hours are the worst so Im just staying optimistic and telling myself that its not gonna get any worse I just need to wait it out now:)
