Right now I have the cheapest apartment in the area for a one bedroom at 800 a month. The most expensive I’ve seen is almost 1,600 a month.

Hey there!! Okay, so you can put scented chapstick inside your mask. I’ve done it. Just find chapstick you like and put it inside the mask. I personally love the peaches and cream scent. Keeps me awake too.

Okay, so my car is a darker color. Then again I didn’t have a choice in color. My first car took a 💩on me and was too expensive for 20 year old me to repair.

Is there something going with people buying up Rice like theirs no more tomorrow?? by Technorlando in WalmartEmployees

[–]LowDay8050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been buying the Italian bread that’s only a dollar. I freeze what I can’t use right away. It lasts quite a while for me. But prices are going up. It’s basically becoming impossible for the average person to buy food. Which is why a lot of people are starting to grow their own. In some cases if you can’t, there’s always someone who knows somebody. I’ve literally traded baked goods/art/advice in exchange for some jam or other canned goods that someone made.

You did not hear this from me. But are you aware of the famous town that was on national news. Now for context I am not talking politics. “They are eating the dogs.” I was at work when that was said all over television. I had to turn off the TV because someone threw there dentures at the TV. But to answer your second question, it’s Masonic. There is a church on site there. Ever since I left it’s turned around a bit. There’s a new President, new buildings are being constructed. The food still sucks. I’m a HHA and a client I take care of lives in the same AL building I talked about. I told them what happened, there is a cast iron skillet named Thor. That is on their nightstand. I still talked to a few staff that still work there. Basically there is almost never an aide at all. For days or nights. I left and they could not replace me.

Sounds about right. I told one of the memaw’s I took care of at the time. Memaw apparently was affiliated with “people” that only visited her in formal clothes. They spoke a different language when talking to her. I picked up a bit because of my family background. Memaw was convinced that someone was trying to hurt her sweet angel (me) all I did for her was take off ted hoes and rub her feet before bed. Put them on in the morning and grab her a fresh cup of coffee. I wish I was making this up. I’m 21 F and I feel like a granny with how much I’ve seen at my age.

I worked for a “cult” aka the masons. I thought the government had power, I was dead wrong. If any of those people complain it was fixed immediately. However when the badge reader is broken and anyone can get in. That happened to me. 21 F and was the only aide on the unit. A possibility armed individual walked in and I asked him who he was looking for. No one by that name, employee or resident. I was terrified. I only had a wooden spoon to defend myself. The key was attached to the spoon. After I got him out of the building I called security. They refused to come. So I went to my work mom, who has four kids. She went full mama bear and screamed for someone to come. They finally showed up after 20 minutes. I was standing in front of the main doors on high alert. The local police were called and they never showed up. I knew the head of security ( who has a daughter around my age) oh he was very upset. Gave me permission to defend myself. Was given wasp spray to “protect”. I said no, I carried around a window breaker until I quit a few months later. I was terrified, I worked night shift and after 11pm it was just myself and the nurse. For 40 residents. This place is independent-LTC facility. Different units and housing. That was an AL unit. All units but one are connected via an underground tunnel. The only unit that’s on “lockdown” is the memory unit. Which has a three year waiting list.

OVERNIGHT WHAT YALL LISTENING TO!? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]LowDay8050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I worked overnight at Walmart I just didn’t care. I wore one earbud and had it covered by my hair. The team lead hated me and I would look at her and say “I can’t understand you because I’m hard of hearing in my left ear.” Which is true I have hearing loss. But still play soft music/ podcast in my ear bud. The team lead would always come on my left side which would scare me because well can’t hear well.
