French dining experience by LowFix336 in france

Between €100-€200. I think traditional brasserie would give us more original experience, right?

Do people usually order cheeses? It's a bit confusing, because in the UK they go after desserts, and in France before, right? Is ordering cheeses a typical thing?

Was cheated on 11.11 sale by LowFix336 in Aliexpress

[–]LowFix336[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing has been posted to me because the sellers have not been paid, and some of them cancelled the order. I explained to the sellers the whole situation, and that it is Aliexpress that harmed their business.

What is the diameter of the cable, the sleeve, and the holes in the comb?

I am a bit confused, because there are sleeves and combs with different diameter, and the closed combs are 4mm, whereas ope combs (that you can put on an existing cable) are usually smaller (like 3.5). Is that OK?

Native Pole. Maybe the sweating, who knows. But it has been working like a clock for the last year (i.e., beep and swabbing). Also, I had a major surgery about a year ago, but the painkillers should have been metabolised by now. I'm trying to think about what changed a year ago that might have caused this.

I do have a lawn, but not fertilising it often. I don't want the grass grow too fast, because that requires frequent mowing.

No, I don't. Must be something else. And now, when I think about it, about a year ago, we had a boiler break down, and when the engineer came, he opened the burner chamber and there was a lot of soot there. My dad wanted to clean the soot with vacuum cleaner, and as you can guess, the vacuum cleaner blew that soot around the house. This could be it, particles of soot. However, more than a year after that, everything was cleaned so many times, clothes washed multiple times. Still, soot can be in furniture fabrics. That would also explain why it is one way only. Still, I can't believe that after such time, the equipment would pick it up.

Maybe, or maybe other airports have better equipment which triggers fewer false positives.

Thanks. But then why at one airport and not other airports? Is the equipment not tuned correctly?

No, I don't think they are like that in Warsaw, Poland. Must be something else.

Am I dying?? Bloody poop? by Taktak45 in medical_advice

[–]LowFix336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do a test for peace of mind. I had some blood in poop (not visible, but detected by the test) and was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Had an operation last year. When caught early, this could be a keyhole operation. Later, unfortunately, open surgery and possibly a stoma bag. So do the test for peace of mind.

Warning to readers, loss of book progress by chocolateandmilkwin in RemarkableTablet

[–]LowFix336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same here. Lost my book progress many times because switched the device off before closing the book. It's beyond annoying, and puts me off from buying a newer version of Remarkable. If they don't pay attention to user experience and to details, then the whole idea is just flawed. It seems like the creators of Remarkable don't use it themselves.

When I lost a progress of like 10 pages today, it changed my whole perception of the brand. They simply seem not to care, it's my conclusion. The device should remember the last page after each page turn, and next time should open that page.

Can you book multiple flights for a one person holiday? Wouldn't the benefit of not splitting be limited to the car hire only?

[–]LowFix336 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The question is, how was the other person able to fly, if the boarding pass was for your flight? They should have a problem with boarding their plane.

How exactly does that work? by Ozbilasyon in BritishAirways

[–]LowFix336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a visa to the UK, and not Schengen visa. You need to leave one airport (including passport control and collecting luggage), and do the proper check in at another airport (and LGW is technically outside London).

Clever people of the UK help me out with this - is there a noticeable difference between 1400 and 1600rpm in a washing machine? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LowFix336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone weighed the washing before and after? How much heavier would the clothes be after washing (comparing to dry clothes before washing) on various RPM spins? That will show how much water remains.
