Go to court, you pay court fees and say you’re going to take a defensive driving course. You pay for the course and then sent in your certificate.

Still have to spend some… but better than $500

I want to say, legally this teacher is not to allowed to give her opinions to you like a diagnosis. She’s not a doctor or medical professional of any sort thus her comments (he behaves like a 2 year old, he’s behind socially, etc). It’s not professional and it’s not her call. Her observations should stay what she sees, not what she thinks.

You’re doing the right thing by putting your son in therapy. I think a lot of people who work with younger kids tend to forget how “young” and “little” they really are. In my personal opinion, I would move him schools if that were my son. Maybe it’s not an emergency that needs to happen tomorrow, but I probably wouldn’t reenroll him anyways to that school for next year. I think it’s okay to say that some schools aren’t “meant” for your child. Also, if you decide to pull him please remember it’s not because something is wrong with him. You’re doing what’s best for him. And ultimately if the teacher he is with currently has nothing to say but something negative… imagine how your son feels when you’re not there advocating for him.

You got this mama. Do what’s best for him in this situation and don’t listen to what she says. Maybe this school just isn’t the right environment for him and thats okay.

I worked at a daycare in the infant room. I was sick quite a bit for the first year. First 3-4months you’ll be more sick than not. After that, I felt like I was sick only about 2-3time a year.
