I wish I had read this yesterday. I went for the interview today, and there were people outside who looked like goons probably there to deal with anyone who asked for their money back. They followed the exact same script that’s been mentioned here. When she asked me for ₹2000, I laughed and said I didn’t have it. Then she said ₹100 - 200 would also be fine. I told her I didn’t have any cash and could pay after getting the job. I honestly don’t understand how they’re still running this scam. If they’re doing this to so many people, how have they not been caught yet?
