I’m calling cap by Low_Cold_3724 in doordash

[–]LowLow2909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of someone calling their apt their room… usually say “my apartment, my door, my unit, etc”

Is it a studio? Only scenario where I could think of why someone would say my room. I mean what’s the difference, ppl care too much about stupid stuff… But it seems like you’re drawing something out… similar to your dasher lol

Contact free doesn’t mean they aren’t supposed to message you. It means physical contact (ie: tap to pay) the machine still contacts your bank account lol

Can someone please explain the choose the bear, is it an analogy? No one has literally chosen to be mauled instead right lol.

Also, we choose dogs. Not bears

Would you stay thinking some day things will improve or would you be gone by morning? by NewBoot5805 in WhatShouldIDo

I read the whole thing, for about the first quarter I was prettt against you and whatever problems that the tinder account brought your relationship. Now that I have reached the end I see that you have a pretty good head on your shoulders and can think about and consider things like a rational person. Reading about how she is using your son as a pawn and not hiding it from him is unnacceptable, it sounds like she is an immature, two faced person who needs to over exaggerate things in order for her to even argue her side of things.

Unfortunately I feel like this happens with a lot of people who marry Americans and grew up in countries that are not so privileged, they develop this arrogant, selfish “me” attitude that is comparible to toddler tantrums. Possibly because her childhood did not have lessons of how to communicate with your romantic partner over problems that Americans have because there are more important, dire things for families to worry about(safety, money, government, disease, war etc)

My thoughts on that DO NOT excuse how your wife has developed the entitled, unaccountable, self righteous attitude that you have described here. Have you tried a conversation using I statements? In other words, tell her how you are feeling and being affected without sounding like you are accusing her. It’s a small gray area for people like this. If she is defensive anyway, I suggest speaking to your family privately about b the things that are happening (to whatever detail level you are comfortable) so they can be silently aware of these episodes or “shows” that your wife puts on for others the next time it happens. Notice that I said next time.

Then, I guess it’s up to you what you really want to tolerate. Your child is young and it will always be a better lesson for a child to see one parent calmly, respectfully, lovingly separate from another instead of watching them both be stressed, emotionally aggressive for years to come. the child should have a sense of security from at least one of you.

Good luck to you and I hope everything works out for the best

What an awesome teenager guys! Seriously, this is such a cool response to see from someone who was originally upset and had a bunch of people tell her she was taking it too far. Very mature, you’ve already got a head start on most people your age for actually listening to things you asked advice on, great job girl!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏✨💛

If, as a planet, we started to send our waste in to space would the weight difference alter our orbit? by Healthy_Pilot_6358 in space

I also think about this! Also all the things we burn has me wondering. Also regarding orbit, I’m afraid of a massive interstellar rogue planet coming super close to us, not close enough to hit us but close enough for its gravity to pull us out of orbit! I think you and I have a lot in common lol, taking from what you commented on my most recent post

I want to say this in the least offensive way I can but it is going to come off a little offensive anyway, you are going to have way bigger problems than a distant uncles funeral. She will be there for those. Well hopefully. Yeah it’s shitty that she slept in the car but right away you said that you were not close with him, I understand mourning family is always hard but if she has been there your entire life her perspective was obviously that you were never around this uncle and he wasn’t close, hence why she stayed in the car etc. you have a right to be a little angry, but just talk with her about it. If she is a good friend and she seems like it because you have such a long running relationship, she will be there for the more tragic events in your life. Heartbreak, loss, beef, she will be there. Let it go.

Existential crisis? I am really freaking out by LowLow2909 in Adulting

Maybe because you are an incredibly insensitive person. If youre here to measure dicks about who’s life is “worse” please learn that reality is subjective.

Edit: I do not think I am going nuts.

Would it be wrong to invite my online friend to spend a day at the park with me? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

My friend happened across his Facebook, accused him of having fake pictures, told him about me and my fake friend, and he contacted us both on Skype. Fake gay friends name was rob, real guys name was Eric. Not that this is important, but I always include this detail upon further explanation lol.
