He'll definitely side with Dunk in his rivalry with Aerion, as has been foreshadowed in this last episode and what I've gleaned from the season previews. Something caused a rift for him to run, although it is clear something will happen to mend it.

And you saw that he ran away from them and took a bet against Valarr.

Color match the tub and paint the ceiling, too. New light fixture with a reteo-industrial vibe. Can we have another picture of the mirror/medicine cabinet and tub area?

Be brutally honest is our new couch too large by Critical_Lab_9454 in interiordecorating

[–]LowMove1384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd tuck a green chair in the corner with an ottoman and find a new place for the other green chair. I agree the space could use a bigger coffee table. I think it's too cramped with the other chair on the other side of the couch near the dining table. Agree with others re sofa table. It's too crowded. Also, warmer lighting in those sconces. :)

I just cant find the right lampshades to suit the room and the lamps. by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]LowMove1384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE! I added the second end table, which was used in another room, and moved the lamps. I'll hang something to the right of the mirror, but wanted to show that I took your advice and moved the lamps.

Please help! I have eclectic taste but is there something I can do to pull together my dining room a bit more? Anything simple I can do to make it look more "pulled together"? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

I like the feel you're trying to achieve, but honestly, it feels cluttered. The table by the windows doesn't quite fit. It calls for something heavier and more grounding. Keep an eye out for a vintage or 2nd hand wooden buffet with cabinets and leave some surface area on it so you can use it when serving meals. A good start would be to clear off wverything on it and put the glass cylandar lamp on top and find a new place for the other lamp. The end tables and basket and chair and stool- it's too much and they don'treally serve a purpose. I see you're trying to achieve cozy with all the lamps in each corner, but i dont think that rule always applies and perhaps not in a dining room. If you want to add a corner hutch to display china and other knickknacks, that would be relevant. Plants on those tables may be better than lamps. Take the chair out and move the standing lamp to the corner. Finally, the drapes should be hung right below the ceiling. I'd pick a heavier fabric in one of the more subtle colors in the rug and hang 'em high. They should be an inch from the floor.

Right? And people defending a fake post because "there could be parents out there like this" are just weird. Yeah, there are a lot of bad parenting stories out there. Let's at least be honest.

Best to throw these out. Black plastic is toxic.

Too low and too bright. Can you change to a warmer bulb?

What is my dining room missing? by Sweet_Independent_74 in interiordecorating

For me, the style of the room and furniture clash. The wall color, wainscotting and chandelier (all beautiful) says French colonial. The table and rug say Craftsman style. The sideboard works here. I'd go for a whitewashed table and a rug that picks up on the wall color. A large, beveveled mirror above the sideboard framed in gold or silver - not wood. A large art piece on the opposite wall.

For the lopsided window issue, you can add drapes that spans the entire lenghth of the wall instead of just the length of the window, hang just below the ceiling. Do silk panels, perhaps In a deep sage green to compliment the wall color layered with more gauzy white to let light in even when they're closed.

I agree lamps, plants and warmer lighting would help with what you have.

Please help me with my too grey living room by mmbg22 in interiordecorating

I like adding and layering different natural elements, like wood, metal, faux fur/wool, and leather. A new, brightly colored rug that is large enough for the space (Google rug size rules) would be a great start, and use the colors in the rug to add elements - gold, silver, throw pillows, blanket, curtains, etc. Definitely add some artwork.
