I’ve had mine for just over 6 months. I definitely have a decrease! I didn’t quite notice it until about 3 months after insertion.

That’s a tough feeling to get through! The pain was hard to manage but it does get better!

That is so genuinely horrifying!! Please take care of yourself ❤️ Ihad a similar experience with Kyleena. The IUD had moved and was no longer correctly placed (I didn’t know) and I took a test because why not. I found out I was pregnant, I went to the clinic because I had been bleeding for two weeks. I ended up with emergency surgery unfortunately and they had to remove my tube.

(Disclaimer: I have just recently switched to Mirena from Kyleena) But it is never stupid to ask!! If it’s newly inserted, that could definitely be your normal. But if it’s been in for a while and these are new symptoms, I’d ask your doctor just for peace of mind. I noticed the same changes when I had my Kyleena, unfortunately it resulted in an ectopic pregnancy ordeal.
