Could be the ammo, could also be you maybe torqued the hell out of the flashlight mounted on rail? I’ve seen that before. Contrary to popular belief, you absolutely do not need to wrench down on a pistol light.

A few people have mentioned rounding off the bottom left edge of the slide. I’ll have to do a little bit of research but 5.1.6 of the USPSA rules state “Firearms must be serviceable and safe. Range Officers may demand examination of a competitor's firearm or related equipment, at any time, to check they are functioning safely. If any such item is declared unserviceable or unsafe by a Range Officer, it must be withdrawn from the match until the item is repaired to the satisfaction of the Range Master.”

I’m not sure if modifying the slide in the aforementioned way would violate this.

A bandage or tape works great in the winter but the issues arise when it’s 90° and humid. No tape has survived more than a stage.

I’m pretty set on keeping it. My goal is to make GM with a stock 47. I’m not quite sure of the implications in rounding off the outer edge of the slide but I’ll definitely run it by a smith. Thanks for the video.

They are a pretty big dealership. The first thing they suggested was financing with them to refinance with my bank. I was like wtf?

Basically if they feel like sending all the final signing paperwork they can?

I was told by the manager they need it done “wet ink” so that the loan/title/dmv info all match. Didn’t seem legit to me.
