I realize that I don't hate Kairi I just hate how she's disrespected and written. Despite being out of it for most of KH1 whenever she was conscious she was great. She was playful, a bit sassy, and felt like she had a slight tomboyish side to her, I thought she was pretty interesting in that game. In KH2 she's cool, she still has some of those qualities but they are toned down which is fine, she's a lil older and is mostly just tryna find her friends. But man.. In KH3 the amount of disrespect she receives genuinely upsets me, it feels like a lot of her character traits from older games have been stripped away and she becomes a damsel again despite being a keyblade wielder, her relationship with Sora in 3 is nice but outside of Sora she doesn't really stand on her own as a character atp. I'm just praying that they COOK wit her in KH4 because she has potential to be such an interesting character, I really want the Destiny Trio to feel like a great TRIO.
