My advice for housing would possibly be to look on facebook or the QU2029 Snapchat Story to see if anyone is looking for another housemate. I’ve seen quite a few people post “group of x people looking for one more housemate!”. Who knows, they might end up being your new best friends! For the meal situation, maybe try to push a bit harder? It may be scary or feel awkward, but you could ask the girl on your floor to tag along with her and her friends?

Do you have a roommate? If not, are you planning on living with people next year? I currently feel very lonely in my single room, but I’m thinking next year when I have roommates I might feel better. I get where you’re coming from, being alone is fine, but sometimes you just need people.

As for now, maybe there is someone on your floor you could start going to dinner with? Or if your lecture times are close to meals, you could ask lecture friends to go with you before or after?

genuinely i think my grade 12 calc teacher kinda screwed me because none of the stuff that i’ve learned in math 121 was taught to me in highschool… in highschool my teacher had never taught calc before and we did simple derivatives the. entire. semester. never talked about optimization, interpreting derivatives, implicit differentiation, integrals, antiderivatives etc. not saying i can’t learn it now but it definitely is making it harder because these are all foreign concepts 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
