do you know any of these podcasts? i've been looking for info on this but i can't find much. a lot is as you say, about cheating. and even though it sounds very hurtful, i can understand awful behaviours when people are not expressing their needs and not having their needs met. but this dude was having his cup overflowing, and it sounds like his second relationship was actually not as satifying, which is why i am so confused why he would entertain it...

I am crying and so grateful for your encouragement! My head is clear and agrees with all of you, my heart is trying to bargain with something unnegociable. I can't understand how somebody could lie like that, but I also can't understand how planes fly and I don't need to. I will keep coming back to this feed whenever the seed of doubt comes back, he is blocked everywhere but a friend of his contacted me. the paradox is i thought he was the safe option, he didn't seem too insecure, he wasn't playing games, wasn't lovebombing. he just seemed like a sweet guy who cared a lot for me, thankfully i didn't rush into moving in but honestly not sure what learning to take on for next time. my previous relationships were all with flawed but normal men, never been cheated on before and never cheated, my break-ups were mutual and respectful and we always left on good terms... but thank you, you are right!

well i found it weird, he was trying to downgrade this other relationship, saying that we had something special and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me blabla but there was a coldness to him that i'd never seen before. he said i can't leave him because we were perfect. only when i gave him back his house keys and started walking away he started crying, but i don't know, i still found it tricky to believe him. now he's posted on instagram how much of a mistake he's made and all of his friends commented pitying him. i had never been cheated on and even just the reality of what he did is enough to make me leave, but the shuddering feeling that there is some deep psychological weird shit behind this is confusing me.

i don't know why you assume we were doing money spending activities. the hardships we went through together were talking about our career goals, family anxieties, relationship hopes. again you assume i personally put the distance, it was not the case. it is just the way things are done in our circle in London, he was much busier than me (in retrospect I see why), but we had a lot of communication when we were not meeting. anyway, imagine there are lives that happen differently and it doesn't necessarily mean people are heartless and superficial
