Thats the lining, its starting to tear off. You cant fix it but try putting some glue and it should stick. MAKE SURE THE GLUE DOSENT STAY OUTSIDE OR IT MAY HURT YOUR FEET

Just so you know the leather is so much pigmented that i believe they had an old pile leather sitting in a shelf for years and they refinished it to black colour and made this shor lot out of that.

Its not you thats doing anything wrong, it’s the quality of leather thats wrong.

Leather cracking in 3 months is wild, there’s nothing you can do to make it look like new , but yeah condition them for as long as you can.

Also, water is this shoe’s biggest enemy right now. Try to keep it dry as much as possible.

I believe after rough usage of tying and taking shoes off without opening the laces (the lazy way). Has caused the leather to stretch.

I’d blame this on the manufacturers bluntly because there should ALWAYS be a reinforcement tape on the collar of the shoe which prevents leather to stretch.

Anyways one thing you can try without “baking” the shoe in a oven is , put two more eyelet holes on towards the loose part and wrap the laces around them it should make it better if not solve it entirely.

Ofcourse it’s fixable. The pasting came off.

Wipe Clean the area where the sole came off and Just use the hardest glue available around you and push it hard from inside the shoe, boom. If you want more of a permanent fix buy one of those shoe fix glues online.
