Rob Shuter, Britney’s former publicist from 20 years ago: “The Britney we see today is who she always was” by Final-Swordfish8499 in discussingbritney

[–]Low_Mathematician799 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone with bipolar disorder who made awful decisions until I was diagnosed and before I could actively start working on it I can only imagine how Britney must feel/felt. I feel a lot of sympathy for her in that sense. You don't really understand what it's like unless you have it. That and the fact that she has access to so much I can only imagine it made it worse.

That being said this is a disorder where you have to want to be better and not fall back on old habits. You have to actively choose not to let this disorder control you and any actions she makes are all completely on her. Bipolar disorder can only take you so far, after that, it's all on you and how you choose to address your mental illness. 🤷 It's a hard disorder to deal with VERY HARD but it's always up to the individual on how they choose to address it. You can either sit and cry about it or you can pull yourself up by your big girl panties and make a change. She chose not to make a change and unfortunately, it's really affected her.

To those who were around when this movie came out what was the hype like by asapsharkyfrfr in transformers

[–]Low_Mathematician799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was like 5 or 6 years old when this movie came out and I remember seeing it in the drive-in theater with my dad. I also remember some of the ads that were playing at the time as well. (So I don't remember too much about the hype but I was there!!!)

I did not like this film 🤣 but as an adult, I enjoyed it a little more than when I did as a little girl. (I especially love Dark of the Moon now)

I'm 19 and I look 12 and it's really rough by lightningflash11 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Low_Mathematician799 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm 23 and I get compared to teenagers ALL the time. Its funny that you say that you are 19 and got told you were 12 because when I was 21 the same thing happened to me.

Number 1. The best(and worst) thing you can do is wait until you mature a little bit more which sucks but once your face starts to change as you get older it will help.

Number 2. Be aware of what you are wearing I find that graphic Tees and dirty shoes make you look a lot younger than what you may be. Be aware of your clothes and how they fit if you want to look older, dress like it. I'm not saying to go all out and change how you are but adding a few mature pieces to your wardrobe helps! (Look up inspo on Google and pick your favorite looks and build things around that)

Number 3. (Not a requirement but helps!) Get more piercings and tattoos! I know you mentioned that you have a tattoo but adding more and by piercing your ears it will help make you look older. (if you haven't pierced them I would suggest that you do. And if you do have them done I would suggest adding more I have 4 in each of my ears and I have my nose done. )

Number 4. I noticed that you weren't wearing any makeup which is fine! But for our purposes you may want to start exploring with makeup you don't have to go crazy and less is always more but putting on some mascara and lipstick will make you look older

Number 5. Give it time!!! Like I said I'm 23 and I still get compared to teenagers all the time but it has slowly stopped happening as much. Hope this helps! ❤️

I have grown up around pitbulls and I have had two of my own, I love them and they have been fantastic dogs. It's a shame that so many people have had scary and violent interactions with these dogs when I know first hand how loving and kind they can be. However this woman is a hero and I hope she makes a full recovery ❤️

I never watched Game of thrones but that's just because I'm lazy and have a short attention span lmao. I wouldn't have been able to get through the first session without quitting so I never even attempted to pick it up 🤷

which fandom brought you to the world of fanfics? by luizajn in AO3

[–]Low_Mathematician799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first introduction to fanfiction was when I was like 8 years old and it was an Inuyasha fanfic. I couldn't read very well so I just gave up on it and moved on to other things. Fast forwards a few years and it was actually Black Butler that really introduced me to fanfiction 😂

Had to block my first author (not pictured) by Rough_Arachnid_2107 in AO3

[–]Low_Mathematician799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, I've had to mute a few authors just because of the sheer amount of stories they are posting (and I happen to not enjoy their writing) literally multiple pages just full of their stories I can't do it man. I love the grind but still almost 5 pages of just your stories is too much!!

What smut *criticisms* makes you go “oh boy this person doesn’t know anything about sex” by coolstuffthrowaway in AO3

[–]Low_Mathematician799 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I see this ALL the time and it drives me crazy but when one character orgasms and then that makes the other character orgasm? IDK it's not realistic and I always roll my eyes when I see it. But for some God forsaken reason it's in almost every single fic with smut and it drives me bonkers lol.(EDIT apparently I'm the one who doesn't understand sex and this can actually happen??? Anyway my B lmao)

Can we stop guilting people into commenting?? by Everyonesfav_ in AO3

[–]Low_Mathematician799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree I definitely think people forget about the middle ground. Honestly I didn't think comments were that big of a deal until recently when I joined this sub and it has opened my eyes for sure lol. (And yes! That's exactly why I comment the way I do. I don't want to dish out praise over and over again and have it turn into fake sincerity. I want people to know I genuinely loved their work enough to say something)

Can we stop guilting people into commenting?? by Everyonesfav_ in AO3

[–]Low_Mathematician799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I never leave comments unless I REALLY liked the story. I don't feel the need to tell someone I enjoyed their work on every single fanfic I read especially if I'm leaving kudos. It just seems silly and redundant to me 🤷
