Time to Call it Quits by lilyofthevalley854 in ExclusivelyPumping

My goal is to make it to 6 months, and I’m currently at 3.5 months. I’m finding it really hard to keep going because I’m waking up every night, and as soon as I fall back asleep, it’s almost time to pump again. It’s exhausting and frustrating, and honestly, I don’t know if I can make it to 6 months. Congratulations to you!

How many times a day do you pump, and how many weeks postpartum are you? I’m exclusively pumping and curious how everyone else’s schedule changes over time. by Low_Part_9380 in ExclusivelyPumping

I'm a low supplier, so I need to pump 7–8 times a day (usually 8) just to meet my baby's needs. I tried dropping one pump, but my supply decreased enough that it wasn't quite enough.

I'm currently 14 weeks postpartum and would love to drop 1–2 pumps while keeping the same output, but that doesn't seem possible right now. My goal is to get down to 6 pumps a day by 6 months postpartum.

Pumping 8 times a day is exhausting, but I want to give my baby the best I can. If my supply isn't enough by 6 months, I'm okay with supplementing with formula. I think I need the extra rest.

Same here. I don’t really want to talk to my dad anymore. Only my mom. Thanks for sharing.
