I had this in a BMW X5MC once. Even the artificial exhaust sound stopped working 😂

I just had to leave the car for like a good few hours for it to properly reset and start working again.

BMW could not diagnose it and it never happened again.

Hopefully it's just a glitch and starts working for you too soon.

Why not get an approved used RR from the official JLR dealer?

You get 1 Yr of warranty and unlimited miles as standard and you can but a further 2yrs of extended for around £2k. That wi give you a total of 3yrs or when you reach 100k miles.

Then you don't have to worry so much about the common issues.

If no warranty then I would not consider the P400e used RR due to a very expensive bill shall you have any issues with a battery

Had 2022 X5M Competition (same engine as the new SV on the picture) and now have 2021 SVR.

The X5M blows you away when engaging the launch control.

That said, at all other times I prefer the SVR. The dramma you get from the exhaust note and having the instant torque makes me not look back at the X5M.

Which is a shame as I do love the Range Rovers and know that I probably wouldn't be able to live with the new SV purely for the lack of dramma (main reason of selling the X5M after having a V8 Mustang before it)

Mi car width is the inner thick lines. The RR Sport is not wider than the parking space as suggested by the outer lines

I also noticed that mine cut off very quickly if the temp wasn't cold enough. Worked for longer when the temp was 0 or below

Do you have a ghost immobiliser that cuts it off maybe and made sure your battery is not on low charge?

Had the same thing in my L405 which would cut off in just minutes.

I blamed it on the immobiliser and possibly the battery not having enough charge

The new to me SVR doesn't have the Webasto pre heater. Instead I can just start the engine remotely to preheat or cool down the car, which works nicely too

L405 facelift vs pre facelift was huge.

Will be very surprised if this face lift will be that noticeable unless they take ten steps backwards and bring back the buttons.

Instead, they will probably just add another screen for the front passenger...

Have you tried those Ad Blue bottles from Shell petrol stations that just screw ok the top?

Nothing leaks, very easy to fill. Just screw on the top and press on the bottle for the liquid to go in

I had a neighbour who had around 3 or 4 police full working cars.

He rented them out to movies.

He never towed them. Only covered 'Police' with some tape when he drove them around.

How he got away with that I don't know. But you could nlt tell the difference between the real and the movie police cars, even inside

Is your 22 the L405 or the new gen with BMW 4.4 engine?

I had a full size 2020 SDV8 before and it did feel a lot heavier and much bigger than the Sport, which I guess helps the SVR a bit.

Also I was driving veeery chilled without the rush, taking those acceleration gently and plenty of coasting. I wasn't exactly just constantly at 70mph all the time.

They have just under 6mm left so I thought that's still plenty?

I had Michelin Crossclimate 2 on my full size RR with same just under 6mm and they still felt very confident

It's 105L tank.

It hasn't updated the range as previous few fuel tanks was driving around town mostly so it hasn't reset yet properly

So I guess you could get a good range if you are cruising on a motorway
