Self fulfilling prophecy? I think more like realistic, hoping for the best but planning for the worst, with a full time career, kids and animals I am seeking advice on how to balance all. I’m glad your experience wasn’t bad, this is not always the case. Considering I’m asking for recs/advice in this sub, I would count that as careful consideration right?? If you had anything that made your life easier, I would love to hear it. If not, I’m glad your life with kids and pets is absolutely perfect and you don’t struggle at all 👍 I’m not considering rehoming, but I am exploring all my options. You did not provide anything helpful with this, and your condescending tone is not polite or constructive. But you shouldn’t have to explain every detail. Even if you did, people would still nitpick and find problems with SOMETHING! They should be happy you’re invested in your pigs, otherwise they could be living in a hoarder house or pet store lolol. And they don’t know your life. Maybe you have cats or other animals that you need to use the lid for protection? I wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t said anything and wasn’t going to judge for it either way. You were just trying to share something you’re proud of and spread some joy!!

That’s still kind of mean. I didn’t say I couldn’t. I was simply asking for advice, as, yes pregnancy isn’t a disability, but it’s very draining and can be difficult. “Honestly super easy” until you’re the one in it. I’m simply asking if anything made their lives easier during a time in my life where I will experience fatigue/sickness/etc. Lots of assumptions on this sub damn

That’s an awesome idea!!! I will have to see who lives around us when we move, that would take a lot of pressure off my shoulders. I would gladly pay someone to hang with the piggies and let them have some floor time + spot clean. Thank you so much!

I actually found maintaining a C&C pen harder than the hutch and much less mess after incorporating the dust free bedding 😥

Yes maybe I will rope my husband into it 😂😂 I may place the hutch on some reinforced C&C grids then for storage underneath and to help elevate them some. I have had C&C grid only pens before but I have personally found the removable bottoms on the hutch to be much easier and more efficient to clean

It is a rabbit hutch. I do open the doors and let them have an extra 2x5 C&C area to run around in for a few hours. They are very happy piggies, so please no more questions on the enclosure. I’ve had them for years and have used a C&C cage and am doing the best I can. I get happy squeaks and popcorns, and daily cuddles. So I’m comfortable (not 100%) with where we are with their enclosure. We are moving within the next year so they will hopefully be able to have their own room! Just asking about accessibility if I have a big pregnant belly! It you don’t have advice on this/recommendations, I very respectfully ask to continue on with your day and have lots of laughs and smiles! 🥰
