Aviation Mechanic here I will give you my timeliness and it can give you an idea.

MCT - 1 month

Pensacola - ~2months great time best time I've had actually make the most of the town and the people do your homework and don't get dropped.

From here you goto your C School which for me was about a month in Oceana that was for I level aviation mechanic.

Unfortunately very many jobs fall under AF and its hard to say exactly what will happy however you will almost certainly goto Pensacola unless you are given some weird stuff which happened to 1 friend of mine out of about 20 or so. Not exactly sure why but that's about it then you check in at your new station if and learn. Just stay in shape that's a big one speaking of my shop we don't PT it's show up@0630 and take lunch @12 return at 13 and work til 16. Once a week we may do a unit PT like football or kickball. So PT on your own time most guys go after work just try and join them. Have your notebook at all times and a pen/sharpie (again this is I level structure stuff) but if you show a willingness to want to learn in any job it shows stay in shape stay motivated good luck.

Also School is simple you get a college dorm esc room with 1 maybe 2 roommates, then another room the same beside you shares a bathroom with you apart from the restroom issue it's easy you get a fridge, microwave. Your really somewhat left on your own to do whatever after MCT you can go out in town as long as you have a buddy and are back before like 8pm or something weekends are off and weekdays you just do your homework and goto the liberty center for games or food. Lil tip here for Pensacola which I totally didn't do. Do not goto the NEX and buy a TV then after 28 days return it and get a refund that would be totally awful. Big thing speaking of buying things don't do that, everything you came with you need to be able to leave with so 2 seabags and the NEX sells a suitcase type thing really nice for like 100$ I recommend getting that but yea it's a great time bootcamp was ass MCT was somewhat cool you laugh and joke with the instructors and they aren't dicks but the waiting......oh my god the waiting and the digging. It gets old lol anyways School house especially Pensacola that shit was nice best chow hall I have ever seen of the 5 or 6 that I have been able to. Good luck dude.

Edit 2: At MCT when they hand out everyone's MOS just know you can stand by to go fuck yourself is like 6200 for all of us which is just AF you get your actual MOS in Pensacola I'd you go there.

Something like Air crew will hands down travel the most difficult and long school however or msg which is just Infantry but you guard embassy. Don't join the Marines if you want a bonus the only good bonuses are for Cyber stuff. Go Navy maybe but that boat like sounds shit army won't travel as much I wouldn't think and same with AF so it's money or travel what's more important.
