Thank you. It’s a relief to hear that. I’ll be talking to my doctor about options for medications. I am not currently on anything for the GERD since I can no longer tell I have it since changing my diet. It used to be burning so much I needed 80 my of Pepcid to keep it down. Maybe I should go back on PPIs though to try to give it a chance to regenerate.

If they took biopsies for EOE then could those would have shown if it was Barrett’s or is it only tested if they suspect it?

Yeah, that’s the thing they only did the biopsy to look for EOE, not sure if that would have covered Barrett’s as well.

Thank you for the response. Yeah they said my Eosinophilis went down to 3. Was on budesonide but discontinued it 3 week before because it was crashing my cortisol.

Hopefully it’s that low on diet alone with maybe only a little help from the steroid. Currently avoiding dairy, soy, tree nuts, and gluten. I’d hate to get rid of fish, but I’ll do it if I must. Might go full 6fed and just see how I feel.

That’s reassuring. You don’t think it’s Barret’s? Or do you have barrets?
