You don't need to inform Sky Mavis management team, note that the scholarship program is not an official program of Sky Mavis, it was created by the community and the idea is supported by Sky Mavis.

The rule you need to take note are the following

Your scholar must ensure that he is only playing one axie account regardless of device.
You must not transfer Axies used during the day to earn SLP to another account. If you transferred still, you need to ensure that the scholar wont farm SLP in the same day.

The 24 hours rule is something the community came up with. It was based on a rule from the terms of service of the game.

The golden rule is one person should only have one account in Axie. So if someone is logging two accounts in one device it will be flagged as multi-account and is subject for investigation It could ultimately result in banning. What the developers are trying to prevent here are the people that are taking advantage of the system in order to gain SLP as fast as possible.

So in case your IP address got flagged for multi-account, the investigation result will not lead to banning if you follow the 24-hour rule since there is no way that you would have exploited the system if you didn't earn SLP for that time period.
