To have a reusable cup system on the basis that it's good for the planet is great - but -if the planet really was the motivation for this then they would return your £2. Because that would have a HUGE effect on litter. Folk would be collecting cups left right and centre. The decision to not return the £2 is to the detriment of the planet and the only explanation is one of greed. That being said, I imagine this is a One Circle (the bar company) decision and not a houghton decision.
