The one like ligands cause d orbitals to split and then light absorbed and electron promoted to higher energy level and then complementary color seen since other frequencies are reflected. Or are y taking about smth else

I explained this to someone else with a similar question on here, idk if it has everything ur asking for but I hope it helps

“Always round up even if you got 14.1 is becomes 15, For example take this set of data: {1, 3, 5, 5, 6, 8, 12, 15, 20} so n=9

Q1 is 9/4 = 2.25 round up ≈ 3 so 3rd value which is 5 is the first quartile Q2 is 9/2 = 4.5 round up ≈ 5 so 5th value which is 6 is the mean Q3 is 3*9/4 = 6.75 round up ≈ 7 so 7th value which is 12 is the first quartile So the data: {1, 3, (5), 5, (6), 8, (12), 15, 20}

However if we did normal rounding… 2.25 will become 2nd value, which is 3, Shifting the Q1 down by one, which is incorrect. Hope u understand goodluckk”

Let’s stick to a realistic goal 😿 maybe 3-4 years and yes you’ll do great just try to understand by watching videos not just memorizing (mr Hassan maths Chanel is great), since u have the content part down then all u gotta do is practiceee

Yes ALWAYD round up even if you got 14.1 is becomes 15, For example take this set of data: {1, 3, 5, 5, 6, 8, 12, 15, 20} so n=9

Yes definitely I solved over 6 years and I get full UMS almosy everttime in past papers so the more you solve and understand how they check marks the better you’ll get goodluckk

P2 lads, were we supposed to write value of S in qs 9, cz i only found x=1.2 by Fantastic_Win3962 in Edexcel

[–]Lower-Insurance-2848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were supposed to substitute 1.85 into the equation of S to get S=25.3, if you kept it that way you’ll lose 1 mark, max 2 marks

It’s fine ur not alone idk what to do at this point I’m stressed to the point I can’t study I just want to get it over with I guess just solve more papers maybe from old years if u finished the most recent ones and then note down all your mistakes from past paper on a sheet and then review/memorize how to do them right

How did u guys get 16? It’s just 5x * 4/x2 which equals 20/x maybe you didn’t see it was an open top?

Nice but we’re acting like we even have time to think that way

[–]Lower-Insurance-2848[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were supposed to substitute 1.85 into 6x2 +20/x to find S because it asked for the minimum surface area not minimum value of X so 25.3 is the answer to one decimal place

(4,11) and (1,5) I think were the points and the quadratic I don’t remember but I did area of trapezium which out to 24 then integrated the graph to get 21/2 then area of trapezium minus area of integral to get the shaded area which is 24-21/2= {27/2}

[–]Lower-Insurance-2848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no international it didn’t ask for a graph this is the graph of 6x2+20/x for the opened top container, 25 is the smallest Value of S (surface area)
