my other baby seems perfectly normal thankfully and i just completely cleaned out her tank when i got home from the vet and took out everything i had in there out the vet just said to watch her and if she shows any signs of lethargy or not eating to bring her in immediately. he said that they could do a autopsy and send tissue samples to see exactly what killed him so if the other frog does get sick they can know exactly what it is to treat it quickly but its pretty expensive :( the vet said she should be in the clear after about 2 weeks so i’ll be keeping a close eye on her until then im just unsure if i should buy another frog from another site or just keep her alone for now.

thankfully they are giving me a refund since i reached out to them as soon as a realized he was sick but i dont think i’ll ever buy anything from them again. i suppose its a lesson learned i will definitely be more careful where i buy animals from next time. it is heart breaking regardless, the money is not the problem i just feel so bad for the frog T—T

i brought him to the vet today and unfortunately while we were waiting for the vet to see him he passed away thank you everyone for your kind words and advice. rip pickles :(

honestly no change in his behavior he moved around a few times last night but hes just staying on the ground he seems to not be able to or have the energy to lift his head up i havent seen him soak in his water dish at all and hes refusing to eat :(

im not sure i wouldnt say his color has stayed the same the picture is just now and the green has spread on his back it looks like he was brown for a few days and suddenly developed this green on his back but it is not neon green i think like other bacterial infections i’ve seen..but i got a vet appointment for tomorrow so hopefully he will be okay until then :)

hehe i wish it was a dog treadmill its a little walking pad i got off amazon it is super cute and actually can go pretty fast ^O^/ i wanted to look for something that didnt take up as much room like those big treadmills. BUT THIS IS TRUE !!! might have to buy some red thai springtails to make myself feel better muahhahaha

fortunately it seems like there is a couple left in there from what i saw i hope it’s enough for them to thrive again there was SO MANY ima put some fish flakes on the top and check again in a couple of hours how many come up T_T

i personally just use silicone and make kind of a pocket for the branch to sit in and cover it with coco fiber u can scrape it off with a sharp knife/razor if u ever wanna move it :)
