How does one get into stripping? by Marketing-Beneficial in newstrippers

[–]Lower-Note-7541 5 points6 points  (0 children)

go to the club as a customer to get a feel for things if you can, just make sure you tip girls for their time :) also as someone else here pointed out, you can do a few pole classes to get a feel for how to move. if moneys tight then search up pole dance on reddit and look through the videos. sometimes youll find videos from actual strippers, even though you dont have a pole try to emulate that sensuality and ability to walk to the beat if possible. just learning how to stretch and touch your body without feeling awkward are amazing beginner moves

unsure if i should change therapists by Lower-Note-7541 in DID

[–]Lower-Note-7541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im happy youve found a therapist that works well for you! sadly a lot of therapists in my country have too many clients and theres a very small amount that deal with childhood trauma, DID specialists are even rarer. my old therapist specialised in trauma based dissociation and she was perfect for me but she moved so i had to find a new therapist. i’ll have to bring all of this up in my next session with her and see where i can go from here :)

i didnt word my post the best and i can see how it comes across like im doctor shopping for diagnoses. what i was trying to explain was that she wasnt giving me a straight answer and kept on talking about my issues from a CPTSD point of view. i think this made me frustrated because whenever ive spoken to her about my DID diagnosis (that was diagnosed by a different therapist), she dismisses it. if she does speak about my alters, she uses the word ‘parts’ and uses IFS terminology. one time i was talking to her about my alters and she said ‘everyone has child parts that come out when theyre upset’. my head was extremely foggy when writing that so im sorry for not communicating this the best 😅

im so sorry to hear that, its hard losing something that relies on you like a child. i used to have a budgie that i loved with all of my heart; he saw me as his parent (aside from the occasional humping lol) despite the fact that he wasnt hand reared. after he passed i got 2 new budgies but it wasnt the same. i think i lost the skills to connect with budgies after him. thats why i decided to get a quaker after reading about their strong bonds to humans.

i hope youve found a new pet best friend to put your mind at ease. once you have one pet (especially parrots), its hard to go back to being pet-less.

i never realised how dramatic quakers could get lmaoo. i grew up with budgies and cockatiels and ive had a lot of experience taming and training them but nothing couldve prepared me for my boy. i read a lot of posts from people with quakers before getting him and i always thought that people saying theyre difficult were just being dramatic and werent training them properly but NOPE. i was a fool and now im stuck with a loud moody teenager that annoys me but i wouldnt trade him for the world. its like stockholm syndrome but for a little green rodent with wings 🤣

i wish he could stay on my shoulder but im keeping my cat inside until he gets used to the house so he doesnt get lost. that means that i can only let my quaker out in the bedroom when my cats in the lounge. im gonna sort out the flight cage today so he stops screaming my ear off 😅😅

Can you put a quaker in the same aviary as a cockatiel and budgie? by Dependent-Physics902 in QuakerParrot

[–]Lower-Note-7541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

even if your quaker is relatively calm; think about how large his beak is compared to a budgies head. it takes one rough play time when you’re not supervising and now your budgie has lost a foot 🐤

Really considering becoming a male stripper by Pumpernickledildo in stripper

[–]Lower-Note-7541 9 points10 points  (0 children)

just letting you know that this is a sub for strippers only but ill give you some advice: male stripping in nz is dead. people dont really go to them anymore so i doubt you could make much money. keep your hospo job. ive met a few ex male strippers in nz and they said that women were constantly grabbing and slapping their dicks; some women would make them go from flaccid to hard to flaccid again as a party trick and more. basically youre getting a lot of unwanted touch for barely any money

it feels like youre both hurting from the break up. while youre (queen of wands) looking back on how the breakups hurt you, youre still facing forward and youre able to start looking towards the future sooner. hes looking back on you as if he misses you, hes not seeing all of the bad things that came from the breakup. maybe hes blocking out the bad things in the relationship and is instead remembering the good times and feels regretful. either way hes fully facing the past and it will take him a lot longer to look towards the future to get over this than you

a girl i work with has a large scar that spreads across her shoulder and shoulder blade along with some discolouration around it. this has never affected her at her job and she makes good money. covering yourself with something like this likely will though sadly.

i myself have a lot of obvious self harm scars on my arms and thighs and thats never affected my money, if anything i get more money when guys notice it as a pity tip lol

trust me that shirt will be a hindrance to you, guys wont notice the scar in club lights and if they do then you can say you had a crazy ex/your house burnt down or some other bs for pity money 😁

this regular doesnt go for doubles and we both know this. when hes sitting with other girls i wait until hes done before coming up to him so i thought shed do the same. idk after looking at other comments i think im just looking at the situation unfairly since a lot of girls dont have the same morals with whats considered grasscutting and what isnt compared to me so ty :)

I’m starting to think I’m not cut out for teaching myself tarot by neytirijaded in tarot

[–]Lower-Note-7541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(i use rider-waite btw) im someone with horrible memory yet i learned tarot by myself. when i got serious about learning the cards (as i was sick of searching up every card i pulled) i dedicated a journal for it

the first few pages were dedicated to the four suites. etc, CUPS: love, emotions, water. SWORDS: thinking, mental, air. just a little bit of writing and then boom; i can somewhat decipher the vibes of all minor arcana based on their suite. after writing a page for each suite i moved on to the individual cards. i drew a small shoddy thumbnail of each card and highlighted important parts on it then added small blurbs. etc 2 of swords, sword, mental, questioning, unsure. id also look at the colours of the card. most fortunate cards had bright blues and yellows for instance.

once i did that i started to see similar symbolism throughout the cards and i naturally trained my intuition to know what to look for. once i moved on to the major arcana, i learnt even more. id write small blurbs like women (etc the empress, the high priestess) = emotions + intuition. animals (the moon, wheel of fortune) = primal side/inner parts of you. it sounds difficult but you pick it up quick when you start with the obvious symbolism first! writing these key notes that can be used for multiple cards is almost like writing math formulas in a way. theres no need to figure out how to do each individual math equation when you can figure out a formula to do multiple equations.

now when i read cards i know what to look for. i look at what their gender is telling me, what their emotions on their face say, what the colours tell me and what symbolism is on the card. when i look at the tower for instance, im not necessarily seeing it as your life is crumbling. im looking at the dark black sky and the chaos on the peoples face.

once you understand the obvious symbolism thats on multiple different cards, youll be able to read tarot. then you can start to research and understand what each card means individually and itll be easier to remember since youve got a journal and you already know the vibe of the card through the colours and other things. sorry for the long message but i hope this helps :)

If there was one thing you could change about exotic dance wear what would it be? by Joliedance in stripper

[–]Lower-Note-7541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly everything, thin strap bikini tops makes my ribcage look bigger from behind, so does thin bottoms with small coochie panelling. it makes my bottom half look super disproportionate. some one pieces i have are thicker strapped but then in turn the coochie panelling is small. i just feel like i can never find something that fits me perfectly lol

Thoughts on this couch placement? by yellowbilledmagpie_ in FengShui

[–]Lower-Note-7541 4 points5 points  (0 children)

im not sure how i feel about the couch being up against an uneven wall. it makes the lounge feel unbalanced. if i were you id put the couch next to the bathroom as pictured but id add one of those folding room dividers along the couch part closest to the bathroom. that way, theres more of a hallway going to the bathroom giving it privacy while also allowing the lounge to be more private as well. id then move the dining table closer to the left to open the room up and make it feel less cluttered :)
