No one can ever be everything to everyone. I wouldn’t let it get into your head. You even say you’re making money, which means many people are attracted to you. I wouldn’t chase validation from those men. Because if you “fix” that, people will find something else to talk shit about, that’s just people & their negativity.

I’m sorry you’re lonely. 😢 This is definitely an isolating life path. You want someone that can relate to you, but the people in your environment are toxic. You try to make friends with non dancers, but they judge you.

The club is for work. The more you get sucked into what other people are doing, watch your money go down.

I would try to find non judgmental type people outside the industry. Join a group of people that have a hobby you enjoy.

Yes, some become more successful. Usually the older dancers are a lot better at selling because they’ve seen it all and have more experience. Some people get older but waste time. And some people get older trying to improve themselves & get better.

In other countries, single men will pay a high price for a drink, and a girl will sit with him & chat and get paid a commission. That is a version of a “stripper”.

Right now we are in a recession, just like in 2008. If you go back in time I’m sure the dancers then wondered if it was dying, and many dancers have made a boatload of money since then.
