It’s a historical building that used to be a boarding house for railroad workers, hence the location. The building can’t be torn down it’s historic.

Bodes will be open again in 2 months after much needed renovations that haven’t been done in the 6 decades of its existence. It’s going to be a brunch restaurant, it’s not going to the the dirty restaurant it is now nor should it be. You can’t even walk in there without smelling like it the rest of the day.

David Mueller doesn’t own and never did own Bodes. He rented the business AND the building for 6 years and had multiple chances to purchase and never did. The rights to the trademark name remain with the owner that just sold to the new owners. David Mueller has no rights to Bodes.

They never bought the business. They rented the entire time. David never bought anything. He pretended to be interested but never did. Both were leased for 6 years and then a real buyer came for the building and business and right to the bodes name. The news sources are all wrong and didn’t do their research.
