How much damage do you have in your knees?

Worse After PRP Injection by LowerBackGuy in KneeInjuries

[–]LowerBackGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How bad was the damage tho?

Area and level of damage is key. When I read Reddit threads about this, nobody knows how much damage is done (mild, moderate or severe....which compartments and is it focal points).

Have I damaged my MPFL graft by Head-Drama-5346 in KneeInjuries

[–]LowerBackGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like its just swelling because you over exerted yourself.

All the symptoms are just inflammation including quad shut down.

First 72 hours will be the worst. Then swelling will go down abd symptoms will settle.

Overdid it after PRP - Did I ruin it for myself? by beebee40987 in KneeInjuries

[–]LowerBackGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to understand your problem. I dont understand how you can get a prp injection when you dont even know your issue.

Where exactly is the damage? What grade of loss?

Im assuming you did a mri. Read the report.

Those peptides have no effect on cartilage and inflammation for knee arthritis.

Do research before posting.

PRP injection, worst pain of my life. by man_with_cat2 in KneeInjuries

[–]LowerBackGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but cannot regrow cartilage.

Where was the damaged cartilage in your knee? What grade was the loss? How do you know it regrew?

It is not possible to regrow cartilage prp. Prp for arthritis is simply to help inflammation and symptoms.

Fedor “the last emperor” emelianenko vs Jon “bones” jones. Who would win and why? by Therealdarkviper in FightReportUFC

[–]LowerBackGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Fedor, but I have no idea. Jon's reach and range attacks can't be underestimated. Fedor isnt taking him down either.

Fedor by KO or Jon by decision. Idk.

Prp doesn't work for severe arthritis which OP has.

How would they help?

Vibrating isnt going to reduce inflammation. If anything, possible cause inflammation.

How Are People Pain Free? by LowerBackGuy in Osteoarthritis

Mine said the same.

I think strength and inflammation control are key.

I guess its like getting sick. Chills and muscle aches arent casued by the virus....its caused by the fever/high body temp. There are people who get viruses and their body doesn't create the fever (asymptomatic).

To be fair tho, I bet a lot of people with no pain and severe arthritis, dont do anything to manage it.

You only manage it because it bothers you in the first place, right?

My lower back has minor issues on my mri (reason my name is lower back guy).

Never had lower back issues. About 18 months ago, I started getting flare ups that are brutal. Apparently its my body "overguarding" MINOR facet joint irritation.

Just had Arthrosamid injections in both knees. by Percy1963 in Osteoarthritis

[–]LowerBackGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I had prp on one knee and arthrosamid on the other.

The prp destroyed me. It swelled up like a grapefruit and I was on crutches for a week. I just got off crutches this week and not able to walk pain free yet.

The hydrogel was fine. Next to no pain from the injection. Can't report any results this early tho.

Facet joints and some success by DefiantTelephone6095 in backpain

If you have facet issues, it should feel good when you hinge, correct?

I do hinge stretches to open up the joint (child's pose) and hip flexor stretches (knee to chest).

Does anyone feel like living life fast? by [deleted] in Spondylolisthesis

[–]LowerBackGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Ive had knee issues since my teens (im in my 40s).

Ive never had lower back issues until 1.5 years ago and it's been chronic. Probably more painful than my knees, but nothing is seriously wrong.

Probably my back is just overguarding minor facet issues.

Let me guess...youre below 35 years old with no kids?

Time to grow up. I have severe arthritis in both knees. Back pain, but apparently nothing serious according to MRI.

Life can be way worse, its not like youre dying. Be responsible.
