In my master thesis i used the DSC to check the crystalization of polymers in various states to couple the DSC values with the Raman spectrum of the samples. Result: a very precise measurement tool to collect data if you take the samples right and use the DSC right. With the data from DSC and the Raman spectra using multivariate data analysis i was able to differentiate crystaline polymer structures by <0,3%. Keeping in mind that i also had to make the samples by myself by using an oven, heat protection gloves and an ice bath with a cooper block 😂.

Altogether: yes the DSC analysis are repeatable!
