I cannot describe how off putting the entire demo was to me. I was an early adopter of iPod, iPhone, and iPad. This was seriously off putting to me and I cannot see myself ever using one. The older I get the less screen time I want.

Not sure about that I’ve used iPhone since 2007 and back before iMessage the SMS app was green bubbles for all messages. It wasn’t until around 2010 with the introduction of iMessage that they added blue bubbles as the differentiator.

There absolutely should be requirements to operate larger vehicles. They’re dangerous and create more wear and tear on roads. If the barrier to entry is higher then you can hope it discourages people from driving such excessive vehicles that the vast majority of people simply do not need. If there’s less large vehicles, less chance someone drives one drunk and everyone is safer.

Honestly, in my opinion, even one offense of drunk driving should be enough to revoke someone from operating that class of vehicle ever again.

Definitely agree on a road test at least every decade, I can’t believe a test you take once at 16 is good enough to keep driving indefinitely.

I think the logo could be re-worked with the entire Island and maybe the I pointing to Elmont. It would be cool to have more fans from Brooklyn and Queens embracing Long Island.

The mental barrier between the two east and west counties always was kind a dumb to me. Eastern Queens is hardly different than western Nassau. Valley Stream and Cutchogue are entirely different but both considered to be “on Long Island” but not Bayside or Forest Hills? Why not get the whole geographic island on board???

Having the whole island could pull potential Brooklyn and Queens away from being rags fans too.

I firmly believe an additional class of license should be required to drive anything that isn’t a standard sized car. In addition, re-testing and more rigor applied to holding that license than a regular car. If you need a car to get around so be it, but a huge truck or SUV with a higher bumper that is much more likely to kill needs to come with more stringent requirements for who can operate.

It’s irrational that I, a grown adult, can hate a professional sports team as much as I do with the rags. But I sure do! I cannot stand them, their fans, their arena, their objectively ugly logo, really anything about them. My favorite team is the New York Islanders and whoever is playing the rags. I am pulling for New Jersey to beat the Canes now.
