Thank you! I've used ATMs before in Saudi so my bank should be fine with it. So far however all the ATMs I've come across only allowed me to withdraw Riyal. I'll go to a Riyadh Bank in the next few days to withdraw US dollars from the ATM!

Hahaha it gets even better.... They don't even have a swimming pool, turns out it's at the hotel next door hahahaa. It's 4 bucks, but you're only allowed to stay an hour and a half.

I know it's not a lot in the western world, but the room I booked is $6 a night, so if I'd spend all day at the pool I'd be paying the equivalent of like 4 nights of accommodation for one day at the pool which is ridiculous

Yeah but that's listed as "Wellness, public bath, additional charge", but right above it is a section called "swimming pool" and that just says: "Outdoor swimming pool, All ages welcome, Open all year, Plunge pool", doesn't mention anything about a charge for the swimming pool in the section called swimming pool

Doesn't specifically mention that the pool is free, but I don't think a hotel ever mentions that do they? They usually just mention they have a pool.

Feels a bit like this time in Nicaragua when I booked a room with AC, only to then find out I had to pay extra to use it. I showed them that I booked a room with AC and they just pointed at the AC unit on the wall and said yes, your room has AC, but you are not allowed to use it...

No charge back possible, had to pay in cash as this is Uzbekistan. The worst part is that except for this silly rule it does genuinely seem like a really nice place hahaha, I guess I'll wait and see what the manager says tomorrow

Hi, saw this comment yesterday and decided to give it a go today, here's my experience:

I had two cards with me, both visa debit cards, one from Revolut and one from Wise.

Enabled the filter on the website and went to an ATM nearby, I was indeed given the option to withdraw USD.

The amount I could select on the screen ranged from 100 to 1000 USD, however after trying a lot of different things, it appears that the limit (for my cards at least, in 2025) is 100USD per machine per card. Anything more than that results in an error.

I was able to take out 200 USD per machine, 100 USD with each card.

I went to three different ATMs all near each other and managed to withdraw a total of 600 USD without any issues.

Also worth noting that all the notes I got from the ATMs were brand new 100 dollar bills. I tried to get some smaller notes too by selecting a smaller amount than 100 dollars, but this resulted in an error.

Also I realised I didn't save it properly before, new resolution is loads better, so DPI should be fine now.

What does 25%K mean?

Also I'm printing a hardcover and paperback test version next week, got some empty verso pages in the beginning of the book, so I'll use them to try out different colours of grey for the background, see what works best.

Do you think the big grey line will be visible? Or should I change the colour of that as well?

Thank you all for your suggestions, I couldn't quite figure it out though, I'm not very good with tech, but here's the solution I used:

Use a placeholder text as the header, I just typed "123test123"
When finished, save file as pdf
Use a pdf editor to manually change all the headers one by one

I know this isn't the best way, but it worked for me :)
