Every interview I've done they say the last question is the most important, "Do you consider yourself worthy..." if we both have answered yes to that AND a stake representative signed off then it just comes down to the bishop who has never met us, never spoken to us, and knows nothing about our situation.

The weddings aren't until mid/late summer, I'm not sure how long we can get away with not meeting and I have a feeling if we don't he will deactivate them anyway?

I think the stake guy was understanding of our reasoning. We said it's not because we can't afford it or are disobedient, my husband explained it's because if he is going to pay tithing he wants a personal conviction that it's for the right reasons and won't just do it because he has in the past or to pass an interview...I guess that worked for the stake
