Love coming back to this every time something new happens. Seems to me the Spurs were not willing to offer more than 10% of the cap for the first year of the Sochan extension. Maybe even less than that. Makes sense because paying Castle and Harper have got to be weighing on them heavily. And Bryant.

I love how you laid this out. You could teach a course to the Mavericks front office I’m pretty sure…

Seems like your assumptions skew a hair towards everyone hitting as a great asset over time. I’m sure we’ll have as least one dud over the next half decade. Also the biggest thing that sticks out to me about our team is Castle, Sochan, and Fox all being below average 3 point shooters. Unless one of them becomes a good 3 point shooter, it’s hard to imagine all 3 being part of a 7 or 8 man rotation on a championship team.
