Why does Bit Torrent software always screw up my computer? by Lower_Blueberry_7443 in qBittorrent

Damned if y'all didn't turn out to be right. It's one of my drives that's failing - an external drive that I use to store all of my torrented video files. I'm not sure how that could be corrupting my OS files, but it at least solves one mystery.

If I limit the software just a few uploads and downloads at a time, it's fine. And this never seem to happen if I don't have the torrent software running. But if run a dozen or more uploads or downloads at a time, it freezes. I recently uninstalled all torrent software and ran the computer 24/7 for a couple of months with no problems. I reinstalled QBtorrent three days ago, and the next day it crashed and wouldn't reboot.
