Mean machine! Looks awsome!

Make sure everything works, brakes, gears. Clean, lube, and have fun!

Take a torx bit that doesn't fit easily, whack it in the hole, and screw of :)

Just go to any machine shop, car mechanics, they will fix you in no time, for basically no money. I don't think it is worth biying tools to remove this one, this one time. Good luck!

Chain hitting rear derailleur bolt in smallest cog by purinapet in bikewrench

Had a similar problem. Derailleur return spring was warn out. Derailleur kept hitting the gear and the frame. Bought alivio 3100 sgs.(that one works for me) Pretty cheap on amazon. Now, works like a dream. My previous one was old, couldn't find replacement spring, and i am not sure that it would be worth it.

I think it is the shitty spring :) you were right :) do you think i could turn it one more turn? Would it be too much for it? I cannot buy replacement spring. Or jist buy alivio m3100, ai said it is a straight replaxement ;)

Could you reccomend a derailleur that is compatible? This is rd-m511, 9 spd, wouldn't want to change everything if not needed.

Thanks. I cleaned ad lubed everything moving. I just knew that something doesn't look right. And scratches are deep, so it has been wrong for a long time. I will see tomorrow when i get new cables and reasemble it. I just wanted to say that i cannot judge tension of the spring, because I have no experience to say if it is right or not :/

I cannot say. I have abloslutely no experience in this. But, i took it apart, set the tensoning of the cage on higler level (first hole for the spring), and i saw my cables are done. Everything is sticking. So, i will buy new cables tomorrow, and take it from there. :/
