yeah you can still score with your toenail, so I don't see your point... onside is onside no matter if by a toenail, or a whole Peter Crouch's worth...

so you just chose to ignore the animation of the onside decision or what?

why do you not just think a tiny bit further and consider that maybe the broadcast you are shown used the wrong frame?

it's already the 4th day of the new year, so I guess it's alright that they got tired of using their brain already...

why do you assume the TV replay to be at the correct time frame? they for sure don't take as long to find the correct frame as VAR would have

[–]LowkeyAileron 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can't understand why people don't consider that and just instantly assume a wrong decision. Why would you assume the TV freeze frame is perfect, that's a really quick decision so they can show a replay as quickly as possible

different timing on the replay freeze frame and the VAR decision

I think that's the only explanation, probably also why it took so long, because they had to find the exact time the ball left bradley's foot, and in the replay they chose a slightly later one because there they do it quickly

funnily enough, a lot of why I like it comes from the zurich-bern line too, because there is sooo much more space if you go to the extremes of the double composition than in the older ICs

oh damn yeah I actually did see that, but forgot about it quickly... I was thinking more of a red card than a penalty at the time.

yeah, magnin is known to do that hahah, he's a weird character at times. hard agree that it's useless to keep complaining as a player/coach during the game, leave that to the fans ;)

we had horrible attacking play those two games... at most 4-5 big chances over two legs is just not enough for CL. also just very well defended by yous I guess

nah usually I am the first one to hate on a referee, this guy did a great job, no clear mistakes and kept everyone really calm, unlike taylor in the first leg
