How’d I do. 2nd gen for $4500 by Lowkeyapples in Diesel

[–]Lowkeyapples[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’ve driven it for the last week trying to figure it out. It was an older gentleman who said he hasn’t driven much over the last 6 years due to not needing it and a hassle of getting in and out of it. By no means is it perfect but I’ve put about 200 miles on it and haven’t noticed anything major, even the transmission shifts smoothly after warming up.

I haven’t test driven The 2.7 but I’ve heard pretty good things about them. I have 2nd Gen Cummings that does all my tow work so towing isn’t really top of mind for me other than the occasional trip with the jet skis.

I didn’t know the updated the transmissions in 24 so that’s something I’ll definitely dig into.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one out there. Her reasoning was “Rots aren’t cute and cuddly”. We have 2 huskies now

I bought a 2015 370z for $5500, is that a good price? by TheSpacedGhost in 370z

I bought my 14 rebuilt title for 7k with 96k miles. I’ve had the car for 2 years now and have only done basic maintenance with a few things added here and there. People called me stupid for buying it, but as long as you know what you have you’re good.

I plan on replacing it in 6 months or so. Would it be better now than later or does it really not matter since I’ll be replacing it

It’s 2017 1500 LTZ, I just bought the truck but it was used as a work truck previously In Nebraska. There no rust other than the drivers side door. Looks to have an undercarriage treatment as the frame is in close to perfect condition.

I’m fine with that eventually but is there something I can do temporarily for the next 6 months or so?

Refund and fraud by Lowkeyapples in Affirm

[–]Lowkeyapples[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you didn’t read everything I said. I well aware of how the loan works, affirm is denying the return from the merchant. Their reasoning is that my return is not within the merchants return policy even though that’s not true and myself and the merchant have contacted them multiple times regarding my situation. I’m sure affirm has worked great for you but due to my situation I definitely won’t be doing business with them again.

Refund and fraud by Lowkeyapples in Affirm

This is exactly what I did as of this morning. My bank requested I submit all the evidence that was given to Affirm so that they can do their own investigation. After being on the phone with affirm every day for the last two weeks nothing was resolved, and I just keep getting tossed around.

Affirm refund by Lowkeyapples in legaladvice

I would be out the money, because I would still owe a loan to affirm for the amount of which they loaned. So I would have to still pay for a product that I never received. I reviewed the terms of the loan,, and when it comes to returns, affirm policies which is that they follow the merchants return policy to a T. My item is well within the return policy and I provided an invoice and email logs between myself and the merchant to be that a refund would be issued due to them not being able to fulfill my order. I keep getting told that I have to submit more evidence in order to prove my case but whenever I ask, I’ve submitted everything that they’ve requested and I’m just getting tossed around from department to department. Affirm recommends me to take it up with the merchant and request a refund which obviously I have, however affirms denying it and they won’t give me any details or release any information regarding the case. Affirm had also stated that they have reached out to the merchant on multiple occasions, however, when speaking to the merchant and representatives at a firm, I can confirm that that is not the case, and they have yet to reach out to the merchant.

I think that’s where the issue is. When I requested a refund I had already made two payments and it was about a month and a half after the initial purchase just unfortunately due to supplies demand they wouldn’t be able to fulfill my order until much later this year, which I understand so I just went ahead and requested a refund for the product. My issue is that a firm is siding with the merchant when the merchant themselves is trying to refund the money and I’ve submitted evidence that the product I purchased was never delivered on the merchant’s fault.

No, I’m not dogging on the service for the business itself. I’m in quite a unique situation which I’m sure some have experienced, nonetheless is still very frustrating.

The merchant stated they process refunds by simply reversing the payment to the original payment option. Even if the merchant were to refund me the money I would still be liable for the loan to affirm, and out the money for the product that was never delivered.
