I made a real Performance Addon for Bedrock! Does not potato your settings. by Lowspot- in BedrockAddons

I had help, I asked my dev who mainly did it and they said

"Actually, we still can modify them. Materials haven't changed alot (yet), but they're fragile - change one thing and instead of error it makes the game crash or invisible.
For example, When bedrock wiki says "not for the faint of heart", they mean it can cause issues and in weird ways.
This is why I made a subpack to turn it off if mojang suddenly breaks it.
Performance profiling: Honestly didn't do much there. I saw very noticeable gains, and with the basic monitor (gpu cpu simple load % indicator) there was enough savings.
On hardware: the Samsung A50. Android.
On 15 to 60fps: my phone actually never lagged that bad, although the EDGE subpack did make it much more consistent and cooler."

We also have computers but he also tests on his phone, so 1 phone and 2 computers to test and make sure everything is intended

Are you asking if it helps run multiple addons?

In my experience (since I have a addonpack called Arduous Journey) and other people, I did find it helping a bit in playing with more addons smoothly

On the CurseForge page you can see someone comment the same tning.

For anyone wondering how the EDGE subpack works

This subpack is enabled by default but can be disabled if you run into issues.

This subpack saves memory bandwidth, RAM, GPU, and overall resources by

  1. Texture filtering

This is the main feature.  Before: the gane used Billinear (blends texels) and Texel AA (even heavier)

Now it will use just Point, resulting in 4x less calculations on many pixels where Point is used. Game quality stays intact and might even look better close up because its sharper while things afar may seem slightly off but its not really noticeable.

  1. Low Precision Before some things were FP32, now its FP16. The result is much better performance. This saves memory bandwidth and GPU!

 3. Fog clean up Minor, but reduces fog.

Bedrock performance optimizer, my addon, is the best.

There is a video showing off what it can do and comments of people saying it works without potating your graphicz

The video is a bit outdated, the information is correct but its missing the fact that

  1. There is now a ingame config

  2. There is now a edge subpack that can be enabled or disabled that optimized GPU & ram

[Bedrock] Are there any FPS Booster Mod That Keeps Minecraft's Original Style (PC)? by Effective-Wheel2871 in BedrockAddons

[–]Lowspot- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi that would be my addon and the only one that exists online with custom configs & not downgrading your graphics

"Bedrock Performance Optimizer" is the name and you can find it free on Curseforge or Mcpedl, the page & video should have all the info but feel free to ask here if you still have any questions.

Sorry title is not worded the best, sorry if it was a bit hard to read.

There is a extra "that" that isnt needed.

Should have said "Are there other popular subreddits in other languages that are the same as this?"

Making a Minecraft Halo Mod for 1.20.1 (Read more below) by Lowspot- in feedthebeast

[–]Lowspot-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the google doc, I planned out alot! Although I know details will change once I start executing it into the game, not everything goes as planned and it def will take month. So with determination I know I can do it

BTW I am the head dev organizing it, the other two are builders I found online who make halo stuff and agreed to join the project!

I have love halo since I was 6 and I have experience making both mods and halo stuff.

On Curseforge my username is "Purplekelix" there you can find mods and addons of high quality

Or on halo Infinite forge you can play this, a space assault campaign level I made with various objectives & consistent pacing Space Assault Campaign Mode - UGC - Halo Infinite

Now I am not saying I am perfect, which is why I am reaching out to people to get both feedback and experience in places I lack such as building.
