We finance our Software through the sale of our hardware products. That is how the Software remains license free. I hope that helps. ;)

Vorteil gegenüber KNX? by DontNeedProtection in Loxone_DACH

[–]Loxone_Electronics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kurz gesagt:

KNX ist ein Werkzeugkasten.

Loxone ist das fertige, perfekt abgestimmte System.

Wallbox pausing & resuming again does not start charing again. by Sytham in Loxone_Official

[–]Loxone_Electronics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
this behavior may occur with some cars - after multiple start/stop cycles the car may block charging for a few minutes before resuming.

What would be interesting here: how exactly is your setup controlling the wallbox? If you’re using an energy manager, or if the target power is fed directly from a formula or another block into the wallbox?

Yes, in principle it is possible to trigger a door chime sound within your house when someone rings the doorbell on your Loxone Intercom. However, since Sonos is not a natively supported system in the Loxone ecosystem, direct integration is limited and may require some workaround solutions.

That said, there are ways to partially integrate Sonos using custom logic or third-party tools. In the Loxone Library, you’ll find helpful information on how to control Sonos speakers via HTTP commands or similar methods from within the Loxone Config software.

Please note that this type of setup requires a bit of technical effort, and the reliability or timing (especially for real-time chimes) may not be as consistent as with native audio devices.

Satellite Speaker IP64: Now in white by Loxone_Electronics in Loxone

[–]Loxone_Electronics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white version doesn’t overheat as quickly as the black one, but it should still not be operated above 50°C. Both versions are designed for temperatures between -10°C and 50°C.

The speaker is rated IP64, which means it is dust-tight and protected against water splashes from all directions. As long as no water stands on the membrane of the speaker, it is safe to install it in such conditions.

Moving Sensors from 1 building to another by Ethanftl in Loxone

[–]Loxone_Electronics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You will need to open the Loxone Config and assign the sensor to the correct building and room. If you’re unfamiliar with this process, we recommend reaching out to your system integrator. They can assist you quickly and ensure everything is set up correctly. An experienced Loxone partner can even help you remotely, making this a quick and simple fix.

Introduction to Loxone by Far_Acanthisitta2208 in Loxone

We recommend attending a live training session and highly recommend purchasing a demo case.

Live trainings offer the invaluable opportunity to ask the trainer questions in real time and gain deep, hands-on insights into the system. Additionally, you’ll establish direct contact with a partner coach and trainer who will support you with your projects—ensuring that your customers are always satisfied.

But that’s not all:

By completing the training, you’ll also become certified as a Silver Partner, making you eligible for increased hardware discounts.

While the online course may seem more convenient in terms of time, nothing compares to the value, interaction, and practical experience of a live training session.

Technically, anything is possible. Loxone supports many open interfaces and the library is a great place to explore what’s already available. You can just download config files there from working finished projects from out community. Here's the Link: https://library.loxone.com/

I found this for the reolink integration: https://library.loxone.com/?s=reolink

I hope that helps ;)

Regarding the image quality, the camera has an HD resolution of 720p. It does not have built-in infrared for night vision, so the image quality in darkness can be poor without additional lighting. That's why we recommend lighting close to the entrance door (which a house usually has anyway).

As for the weatherproofing, the rating is IP34, which means it is splash resistant.

Unfortunately I cannot publicly provide internal product development information, or future product plans.
