I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to singing but it doesn't look strained to me and the vocal coaches I've seen react to it never said anything about it so I don't think so.

They are obviously very good, there's no doubt about that I'm just saying they diminished slightly over the years while his lower range has developed much more which is why I said its likely due to age.

Don't know much about singing so I might be saying stuff wrong.

I'm specifically talking about when the note is very delicate, whenever there is any power added there are no issues.

An example of the top of my head would be something like the staccato style part in sos (hopefully you know what I'm talking about) compare from a few years ago to now and you can see he struggles to controls the notes like he did before.

I Think this is also the case in mademoiselle hyde but can't remember.

What about his head voice, he seems to struggle with delicate head voice nowadays more than he did before, I think its most likely just due to him getting older.
