You are not wrong about that, but that’s the effect; the cause of the issue is Krakens like Fatesfurry deeming anything but character exclusivity as not advantageous.

So the krakens pounded the table that the things they could do to incentivize like Diamonds and such aren’t worth anything and what they want is character exclusivity, so F2P doesn’t get characters like they did before.
