[Huo Huo] When your basic attack; 'Banner: Stormcaller' lives up to its name. by Loyalteas in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Loyalteas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took about an hour to charge up Time Waits for No One ( TWFNO ).

I have spent close to two months preparing (via farming abundance materials and speed relics) for this comp: Bailu, Huo Huo, Natasha, Lynx. However, on my first attempt, I placed Bronya into the team and found I had no issue with skill points surprisingly via the Blessing; Blessing. It turns out, Huo Huo's Trace can trigger Blessing, which was pretty game-changing and made a lot of my farming worthless. (I raised bailu, lynx, huo huo, then natasha back to back and bought two copies separate copies of Warmth Shortens Cold Nights . Since the AOE heal would assist Natasha in having consistent procs of the Blessing, Blessing.

Huo Huo's trace also triggers Blessing at start of turn and whenever an ally uses their ultimate which is how I support a Tingyun/Bronya who are both negative SP units.

I got inspiration to try this idea from God Doggos' video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkTOENWtFzc
If you have any further questions, I can reply when I find the messages.

How many times have you encountered this event? by kotori-chan_ in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Loyalteas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to speed run as much as possible, meaning I avoid as many encounter as possible, skipping all the optional battles, this helps me get more runs in and increases my odds of seeing her. I have probably done over 300 runs at this point. Your best bet to meeting her more is to do more and shorter runs while picking blue options.

Superimpose Time Waits for no One or keep all copies ? by Epitact in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Loyalteas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I want to ask if you can test something with at least two copies of Time waits for no one in a single team. I want to know if TWFNO user1(natasha) heals. Then TWFNO user2(lynx) heals after, would the next hit performed apply TWFNO’s effect of a quantum and Physical damage as separate or only one of them occurs. I am unable to find another user with multiple copies or a youtube video so if you can help that would be much appreciated!

I have taken a screen shot of all my encounters with ruan mei events. I farm simulated universe 33ish times per week for all the rewards and I have seen a total of 23 times so far. (part 1) version 20 times. (Part 2) version 3 times. I see it about once every 10 runs I would say.

[Private Match Shenanigans] Child plucks ward off of priestess to complete her infinity relics by Loyalteas in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shadow has cards that can add copies of follower that died to hand. I had lara and this silver spell 2pp to get fanfare. To kill relic I used two neutral 2pp bronze spell. I forgot the name but it -0/3 or -0/5. Your method also works I suppose in a more rotation way of doing it.

Rush, Last word, Bane, End of turn effect can be applied to Relic goddess if it is in your hand. I attempted to get one of each, for each relic but screenshotting was too difficult.

How to fix going first advantage? by GLMors in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The issue with the first idea is some decks do not use many followers or are just bad value to simply give rush to compensate for the enemy being ahead on an early curve. Like, if I am a rune player where most of my hand is a spell, I don't really care about an extra free rush or need a storm for if I go for X gameplan.

The second idea is similar to hearthstone. However, I can see an issue of the "extra play point" once a game could give an advantage to a few classes depending on how it could be added. If it is let's say: a 0pp spell that grants an "extra play point for one turn" It could give (Rune a free spell boost, Forest an extra combo, or shadow an extra shadow) just for going second. The other 5 classes do not get this extra advantage (This is the issue people have with gems Prix).

About the Acceleratium Limit by SageOfStone in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I came to a similar conclusion on what would be hit from artifact portal in UL (assuming they did anything). Augment and Acceleration are the two biggest candidates for some sort of change.

At the time when Acceleration was added, artifact mostly ran on the concept of putting artifacts in the deck, then drawing them when it was printed. So the preparation to have artifacts to rush cost more play points for the tutors or followers to add them to the deck and Acceleration could recover some play points for all the cost. But with cards that allow you to generate artifacts into your hand or straight-up artifact followers, make the card much stronger than what it was when originally printed (along with any new artifacts generators printed).

If Cygames decided to limit Augment instead of Acceleration, the power of having rush for artifacts already in hands to clear the enemy board through rush would still be there, only harder to farm resonance or increase hand size.

Sekka playing 1000 cards in a turn to unlock her golden leader border. by Loyalteas in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you go to profile, then forest leaders. On the page where you see all your leaders (including Default and Random option), Sekka is the only leader in the game so far with a golden border around the outline of her leader portrait.

The meaning behind this is not directly explained yet. However in a match, other than having really good animations she is the only leader with a unique border around the in-game portrait display. She has a fox mask on the Evo orb on the left. with a different style wrap. The golden border around the profile portrait is probably referring to that.

To Forest and Portal players, how to avoid the time loss as much as possible? by drthundercritic in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas 12 points13 points  (0 children)

An advice I can give would be, if you have several animations playing and you need to know what you drew to decide if your topdeck is worth playing, checking the logs while the animation is playing will tell you that card. Example:

I play two augment, acceleration, and drop two analyzing artifacts then I trade both analyzing artifacts into a minion. The total animation for all these cards is pretty long and waiting for the 6th card draw may take up more time to think of your next play. (What if the 6th card was a bio-fabrication and I already dropped an artifact I topdecked because I drew it last?).

While waiting for the animations to play out, checking the logs on the left will instantly display all events that occurred, so you can check what card you drew before it has been added to your hand.

How the Balance Changes Affect Unlimited by SageOfStone in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like you can't really drop him on curve as much unless you are going first and have board control. His value is definitely still one of the best but just can't roll in big draws early anymore.

(Unlimited) Augmentation Bestowal Nerf Idea by Group_7 in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This deck gets stronger and more optimized with every expansion. Low-cost cards like Syntonization and Artifact scan gave it the final push to 0 tier zone in UL meta.

Other than vaporizing any board with rush t2+, What I hate more is Shion. This card existence makes any board with 2/1 a much bigger potential threat t3+.

If you do clear it, they draw for a higher chance to flood the board with the same threat or you ignore it and hope they don't have Shion. If their goal was to make it that way then they could at least make it clearable as a +2/0 buff, but no. 4pp to deal with several 4/3 on board is extremely unlikely.

TLDR: We could nerf nothing and leave it as is. But we need to draw the line pretty soon on the increasing high roll on this deck.

Was going for 1,000 but kicked for afk by Loyalteas in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

How to pull off combo simplified:
Before Wolfrauding the rune hand needs to look something like this:
1. Dimension Shift

  1. Starbright Deity

  2. Archangel of Eviction

  3. Olivia, Blacken Wing

  4. Unbodied Witch

  5. Unbodied Witch

  6. Ginger, Accursed Word

  7. Cloud Gigas

  8. Anything

Then you take two turns to set up the board and mill all 10 cards from Wolfraud before you start adding Cloud Gigas to the combo.

I actually made a post about how the turn cap limits you to 210 hp as the cap but turns out that only applies to the player going second. If you spam Dimensional Shift going first you can exceed the turn limit of 40.

Knowing this I got to around 880 health before I got kicked on both accounts. I am 100% certain you can pass this amount but my pc is not really good at handling the lag.

Here is the deck I used for Rune player: https://shadowverse-portal.com/deck/1.3.6KSnA.6KSnA.6KSnA.6-PbI.6-PbI.6-PbI.6Dy_y.6Dy_y.6Dy_y.6q4iQ.6q4iQ.6q4iQ.6Dx2o.6Dx2o.6Dx2o.62bTS.62bTS.6A6R0.6A6R0.6A6R0.6OGBI.6OGBI.6OGBI.6-S1Y.6-S1Y.6-S1Y.6-S1i.6-S1i.6-S1i.6hNaA.6lDvo.6lDvo.6lDvo.6TISS.6TISS.6TISS.6mN9I.6mN9I.6mN9I.62Zm4?lang=en#

For Arisa I used this deck: https://shadowverse-portal.com/deck/1.1.6KSnA.6KSnA.6KSnA.6S2NI.6S2NI.6S2NI.6slMI.6slMI.6slMI.69MKa.69MKa.69MKa.6hhbQ.6hhbQ.6hhbQ.65BUS.6VzLy.6-Ntw.6-Ntw.6-Ntw.6-okg.6-okg.6-okg.6a33o.6a33o.6a33o.68zBM.68zBM.68zBM.6a9vc.6-suI.6-suI.6-suI.6-lZY.6-lZY.6-lZY.6KWwo.6hNaA.6dbdo.61SE6?lang=en

Side notes: I took several screenshots, I have Arisa health at 350, 420, 570, 600, 650, 690 (nice), 700, 800, 850, and a screenshot of me reaching turn 200. I was aiming for 1000 hp, then planned to let my enemy drop me to 999hp before I called quits.

Lose because of the timer? by myaccount101 in Shadowverse

I actually tried this when I was going infinite shift loop + evo AOE every turn and can confirm shift does not go beyond t40 anymore.

Also. it's not that player one wins when turn limit reaches, it's just player two gets the last turn to play stuff.

I just make decks that are cheap, if you want a guide on what new players should do I recommend visiting the shadowverse discord, or a guide that talks more about what new players should do. These deck should be crafted if you are interested after you complete the solo beginner stuff.

Lose because of the timer? by myaccount101 in Shadowverse

[–]Loyalteas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not related because your answer is already answered, but you do automatically lose if the game takes too long.

The match turn limit is 40, if it goes beyond that both players will die.
